UNO AND SANO SOMEONE ELSE REMEMBERED!
... Except we were already much bigger than that when we first met him. It was Leon who was smaller...
Uno, depicted by the utterly amazing and wonderful anakrusis --I swear it’s like she reached into my head and pulled this out o_o
foxy skritches

Send me ‡ for my character’s reaction to yours climbing into bed with mine.
Leon had wondered why his bed became warm, feeling someone nestling up against him with their furred body. With a smirk and sitting up a bit, he rubbed the back of his neck to see just who it was, recognizing the fur colors in an instant. “Lonely tonight?” He mused like he was going to pick on her, getting back into bed and making some room for her,” Alright…you can stay with me, Uno. Little rascal.”
She purrs, not very quietly, when he starts scritching. ~Ohhhh… gods, Leon, that feels so good…~ For a moment she’s distracted. ~My human form is small but not that small – still bigger than me now,~ she points out reasonably. ~And as for corruption… i know about sex. I just don’t know about much of what goes into it. I know it’s supposed to feel good… but I don’t know how. And… well, I think it’s time to sleep,~ she sends abruptly, closing her eyes. There’s too much yet left unsaid between them; this is not the time for that conversation.
Of course she’d not want to do anything, that just made him chuckle all the more. Stroking her head a bit, he leaned over to place a soft kiss on her forehead, like he used to way back when. “Who said anything about sex? Hmhm…goodnight.” He pulled the covers back on him and just let her snuggle close, letting his own self drift off to sleep.
~You’re the one... who said something baout... people hearing my screams... and no pajamas...~ It’s her last onscious thought as she falls asleep, muzzle resting on Leon’s shoulder as sleep overtakes her as well.

“Oh, I know you can.” He mused and reached over, stroking her head and starting to scratch behind her ears,” Guess I’m just prefer this form in bed, much more to cuddle.” He was merely teasing her but, to be honest, he wasn’t sure how he’d react to have her in bed as a human, wondering himself about other things. He scratched her ears a bit before laying back, staring up at the ceiling,” Not really reluctant, might give me more of a reason to try to corrupt you.”

He merely chuckled at her words and shook his head, turning over to look towards her with his teal eyes,” And you’d be stuck without pajamas and nobody to hear your screams.” He teased back, oh he was going to go at it with her if she didn’t let up.
“Nah…this is fine enough for me.”
A soft yip of laughter escapes her as she curls up next to him, opening her eyes a bit to meet his gaze ~Wouldn’t that be the point then?~ If her lips allowed, she’d be smirking right back; as it is, the look in her eyes is sufficient. ~Besides, You know perfectly well that I can manifest clothing as I choose. If I choose. If I wore pajamas, it would only be becaused you asked. Nicely. But I know the real reason you’re afra--oh, dear. I mean, reluctant, of course, to have me in your bed as a human...~

~Yes, actually. And you should thank me. It’s chilly out... and I could have joined you in my human form.~ There is no doubt as to the smugness of her mental tone as she drapes a couple of tails over him. ~I still could, if you like...~ she teases.
adorable baby foxes playing with a dog’s ball will brighten your day
“You are living,” Vailintin says firmly. “That is the only thing you need to do correct in life. Everything else is a bonus.” Vai tries to adhere to this saying, but admittedly, it’s harder than it sounds.
He catches onto her emotion and the wistfulness in her words, but Vai recognizes the face and the body of someone who is worn down from crying and fears and just wants to rest for a while. He lets it slide until another day, when Uno has enough energy and she wants to talk.
“My own burden doesn’t weigh so heavily on me anymore. I am away from toxic elements and I am healing. I can at least take on a part of your burden when you need to stop and rest your shoulders. Like Hercules taking the weight of the world off of Atlas.” He smiles shyly, hoping Uno would get the reference.
“Yes. I am living,” she says slowly, in wonderment. “Aren’t I... Truly living.” She holds up her hands and looks at them with thoughtful eyes. “I’m alive... Alive like I haven’t been in centuries.” he smiles, but it there are layers of emotions in her expression. “And I have learned something,” she says with a spark of humor. “Life sucks.” She shrugs. “But it beats the hell out of most of the alternatives...”
She stands next to Vai and leans on him, wrapping her arms around him lightly. “I do not know what it will take for me to begin healing... or even from what, precisely, i am healing, other than having lived a not-life too long. Oh, and losing just about everyone I ever knew.” She shrugs, trying to keep it light. “Not unlike Hercules, if i remember your world’s legends correctly... Only I hope I am coping differently.”

Your muse is on my muse’s doorstep in the rain.
Vai wasn’t expecting any customers with the hard rain, so he closed the shop early and settled down with some tea…until he heard a knock at the door.
Putting down his tea and book, he went down the narrow staircase to the front of the shop, coming face-to-face with a sopping wet Jaxtail on his front step.
“Uno! Goodness, you’re soaked to the bone! Come inside and get warm. I can make you something to drink. How long were you out there?” He ushers her inside and immediately starts fussing like a mother hen.
“There is truth in what you say. But I see you as my friend before I see you as any sort of creature. And I’m sure Arthur believes the same. Although…” He smiles a little wryly, feeling a tad mischievous. “I believe Arthur would have to disagree with you on the swimsuit bit.”
Vailintin ducks into his room to change before Uno can laugh, but he’s already giggling at himself.
She hears him, still giggling slightly when he comes out a few minutes later. Her face is still tilted up, her eyes closed and she smiles, reveling in the sensaion of the rain pelting her body. Her hair flows loosely down her back, slicked down against dark skin highlighted by the white fabric of the two-piece. An ear flicks in acknowledgement of his presence before she speaks. “That’s because he’s in a relationship with you. He is not bothered by the fact that I was not human; I think that were he not so claimed he might have put himself forward as a candidate I mean, look at this!” Her smile widens into a grin and she cracks an eye, looking at Vai with an undeniable twinkle in her eyes.
Indeed, the swimsuit reveals a lot while still maintaining every appearance of decency; she knows that her pear-shaped figure is attractive by human standards even despite the remnants of her monster self. “Are you ready?”
I dare you to flirt with my muse.
ooc; I DONT EVEN CARE IF WE’VE NEVER INTERACTED BEFORE PLS DO THIS

Putting down his tea and book, he went down the narrow staircase to the front of the shop, coming face-to-face with a sopping wet Jaxtail on his front step.
“Uno! Goodness, you’re soaked to the bone! Come inside and get warm. I can make you something to drink. How long were you out there?” He ushers her inside and immediately starts fussing like a mother hen.
Vailintin decides to bring up the thoughts he had earlier. “Arthur told me he disliked it when I referred to myself as other than human, even though I’m proud of my mage blood and it’s the proper term. And even though you’re using the proper term to describe yourself, it has different connotations to me. It makes more sense to me now.” He reaches out to hold Uno’s hand.
“Human or not, you’re still my friend.” Vai boops her nose with his. “Let me change into something I don’t mind getting wet, and we can go outside.”
“I am sorry that it bothers you,” she says slowly, “But I am what I am. I was a monster for all my life. Now, I may be living part of my life as a human, but it will be a long time before I truly feel that way.” If ever... “Even as a mage, you have a lot more in common with other humans than I ever could.” She shrugs, squeezing his hand and letting go before running a finger under the right shoulder strap of her bikini. “Though I think I look better in this than you would,” she adds with a sudden teasing grin.
“I’ll meet you out there. I want to stand in the rain a little bit.” She steps back outside without waiting a for a reply, not bothering to look around, instead tilting her face up to let the cooling rain soothe her mind. She’s always loved the rain, even if it made her brother skittish. She’s troubled by her own feelings, and this is hardly the time to let some silly crush or her own insecurities get in the way of her magic.
“I’ve heard childbirth is painful.” He shudders. “I am grateful I will never have to go through it, and I don’t blame you for any trepidation you may have.” Vai tries to compose himself. “I’ll discuss it with Arthur, and the three of us would have to discuss it together. We’ve never seriously considered having children.
“I think there will always be heaviness, for something so serious. But if your burden ever becomes too much for you to bear, you can always see me and I’ll try to help you lighten the load.”
“Oh, it’s not trepidation,” Uno says casually. “It’s simply practicality. My entire existence is fraught with abnormality. I’d like to get at least one thing about life correct,” she says, her smile only slightly tinged with sadness. “There’s no rush, of course. You two should have time together as a couple before you bring children into it. At least, that seems to me to be the way to do things. Kits... children of any sort, they change things. Even I know that. Besides, at this rate I may never find someone to be my First, so...” She shrugs, trying to seem unbothered by that.
With any luck, Vai will interpret her expression as lingering emotion from their recent discussion and not this new-old sadness; if her body doesn’t stop reacting so intensely to even the littlest sensations be they pleasure orpain, she’s going to have to spend more time in her four-footed form just to keep from going mad.
“I thank you. It is not that I lack for friends, but there are few who understand me, I think, as well as you do. It is not the having of a burden, but the nature of it that weighs heavily on me, and there are some whose own loads I would only increase by sharing my own. I hope that I am not doing this to you,” she says with sudden, belated worry.
Uno usually doesn’t remember her birthday. Sano has reminded her multiple times that they were born on the 6th day of Spring, but since Jaxtails don’t really celebrate birthdays, she simply donen’t bother to remember.

“I see it now. And the water facilitates the growth of the plants, which saves me a step; and by moving the roots towards the water, I save you a step!” He beams, evidently proud of his realization. “Yes, it’s quite clear to me now, thank you.”
Vailintin looks away as she starts to change, but then he realizes that she hasn’t actually taken off her clothes. “Oh! Very impressive!” Although he’s more interested in her magic than the bathing suit itself. But a frown crosses his face. “It bothers me that you call yourself a monster. Perhaps because it means something different here compared to where I’m from.” Suddenly, Vai understands why Arthur is concerned when Vai refers to himself as more mage than human–it’s putting himself into an “other” in a category unfamiliar to Arthur, even though Vai doesn’t see anything wrong with it; indeed, he wears his identity with pride.
“It’s good that he sees you as a friend. That much I will say. It’s good to have friends.”
“Yes... friends are good,” she says with a little sigh, her tails drooping briefly. “Even Leon.
“But I am a monster, Vai... I haven’t been a human a month yet, and I can still, as you have just seen, assume my monster form. I was not born human, and I’m still not very good at being a human. I’m learning, but I’ve got a long row to hoe before I can claim anything like readiness to integrate into human society. I don’t think of myself as human... and I’m pretty sure others don’t, either. Like Leon,” she adds with another sigh.
“But enough of that,” she says, forcing a smile onto her face, though her ears and tails are slower to follow suit. “Let’s go outside!”
Silver and gold…yes, that fits them quite right. He smiles. “I mean, me having a biological child with Arthur. Because of our bodies, we are unable to have a child. But if you were to carry the child, I would not be against it. I would merely have to discuss it with Arthur.”
Vailintin twists slightly. Uno’s statement makes him a little uncomfortable. “That makes sense,” he murmurs.
Uno shrugs dismissively. “I don’t want to hear about scientific impossibilities. I should be dead over a thousand years ago. Instead, I was a statue, and now I’m human. More or less. Don’t talk to me about what’s impossible. If you both wanted enough, a way could be found.“ She pokes his nose with a finger. “I’d be willing, but don’t rush. I think I want to try sex before I try childbirth,” she says with a giggle. “That is the usual way of things, after all.”
Hopping off his lap, she stretches. With a sigh of contentment, she bends down to the floor. “Thank you for bearing with me,” she says as she straightens. “I think I know now what it means to say that one feels a burden has been lifted. There is still heaviness in my heart, but it is less intense... Thank you.”
“Please, don’t worry about it. You have enough to worry about.” He pats her arm, giving her another hug.
“The proper word for it is “albinism”,” he says staunchly. It’s better than what his father called him, anyway. Freak, mutant, wretch… “But you may call me what you wish.” Vailintin sags slightly.
“I have not discussed the prospect of children with Arthur, and he hasn’t mentioned anything either. I will ask him eventually.” He laughs. “Although I think he’ll be more than a little surprised about it.”
Vai returns the nose-kiss. “That would be a scientific impossibility.”
“You are the Moon to Arthur’s Sun, though really he’s a bit pale for that himself,” she adds with a giggle. “Oh, wait! I know! You are silver and he is gold!” She nods her head with childlike authority; her mind is made up and there will be no changing it. “As for the scientific impossibility, what do you mean? Having babies with Arthur, or being my human daddy Or both?” she ads with a grin. Her eyes are still red-rimmed, and she’s still a bit shaky, but she seems to be more in control of herself despite her continued clinginess.
“Because I definitely think you and Arthur would be wonderful to your babies. Maybe even because of your respective experiences. And my father was wonderful for as long as we had him...”
