chaseannabeth:
Annabeth ran a hand through her blonde hair as she walked around the kitchen back and forth as she was a nervous reck. Percy had been ignoring her lately and it was getting her a little bit nervous. She didn’t know if he just was keeping his distance from maybe having nightmares still of Tartarus, she had been having a lot lately which meant that Percy had to constantly wake up to Annabeth’s screams and cries from that horrible place. Annabeth sighed softly before pulling her hair up into a pony tail and sitting down at the island in their kitchen and start reading her book in the peace and quite she had now. Annabeth was able to get through a couple chapters of her book before she heard the door open and soon close and she rolled her eyes knowing that her sea green eyes boyfriend was now home. She soon felt him place a soft kiss on her check as she finished the last sentence of the page that she was on before picking up the flowers that Percy had got for her. “Thank you.” She said to him as she put the book down before she put the flowers up to her nose to sneer them. She smiled softly as she soon looked over to see her boyfriend all nervous. “Is there something wrong seaweed brain?” She asked him softly as she ran a hand up and down over his arm.
A quick shake of the head is all he gave in response, before he was moving to grab a vase from under the sink and filling it with water for the flowers. Percy gently took the flowers from the blonde’s hands and placed them into the vase, before he was leaning against the counter with a hidden smile. “I wanted to know if you want to go out tonight? By tonight, I mean like right now.” His words were rushed, since he was looking at his watch and noticing how long it’s been since he’s been home. He quickly retracted his phone to shoot a quick text to the man watching over his things, saying that he might be a few minutes late. Percy normally wouldn’t care about being on time for anything, but he really wanted to impress Annabeth by giving her a nice proposal that she deserved.
Now, he just needed to figure out a way to get to the beach without Annabeth getting suspicious about it, which ruled out the blindfold for the whole trip but he knew as soon as they left the Italian restaurant with their food, he’ll place the blindfold over her eyes at that time. “I was thinking Italian for dinner?” He questioned, hoping that would be alright with her. Is this how Paul felt when he proposed to his mom? If he felt like this, like his whole body was about to explode then Percy grew a lot more respect for him. A sigh escaped his lips, before a stressed smile grew on his face and adoration filled his eyes. “So, you ready to go?” He questioned, standing to his full height and grabbing his keys with a small shrug.
