It's all noise. a lot of adults process this sort of beating by insisting there is a lesson in it. with the title and artist statement in mind, it's like they're trying to read a message of love written in that chaotic canvas.

I'm sorry for making one of these when everyone is heading into hard times, but I'm hitting a wall.

We've officially hit the slow season at my work, and despite my best efforts, I cannot keep a consistent full time schedule at work with nothing to do. My bank account has overdrafted twice in the last 2 weeks because of bills and rent, and I'm having to navigate more expensive groceries to help my partner with her health. I am currently trying to find a new job that won't exacerbate my chronic pain, but 2 months in, and I've been rejected from every place I've applied, and lost over $500 in income due to not having enough hours at work.

Nasra is a Somali citizen, born in Hennepin county, is who was tormented for multiple days because of her specific ethnicity. Even Somali communities here are absolutely being targeted because of a right wing propaganda campaign attempting to falsely paint them as disproportionately committing fraud with state funds.

I’m so glad she’s home and I am grateful to her for sharing her experience.
