Random yap about a drawing I'm doing of the mcs in Unwind and Hayden (because he's my favorite) bc I want to talk about it <3

So like, I started a drawing with Miracolina, Lev, Connor, Starkey, Cam, Risa, and Hayden awhile back because I felt like getting something down for how I would like to draw them instead of doing it off the top of my head every time, but when I tell you this is taking soooo long.

I'm not using any references, other than my own, which is super weird, but I couldn't find anything similar to what I wanted, so it's been taking soooo long. Like, even drawing all the bases for them took *forever* because I needed to figure out what I wanted their positions to be. It's super simple poses, and I know drawing is supposed to take a long time, but gosh bro, this is taking too long.

Usually - which you can probably tell - I don't ever flip my canvas because I've always been too lazy, but I'm trying to get into the habit with this drawing, and when I tell you it's making it sooo much longer. Like, yay, it'll look better, but when I tell you Cam has taken the most amount of time and I'm only on the sketch.

It's literally bc of his hair because it looks so damn uneven when I flip the canvas, and it's unbelievably annoying. I'm also trying to practice jor giving the same face to everyone bc I feel like I do that, but I probably still am ;-;

I've (luckily) finished Miracolina's, Lev's, Risa's, and Cams sketches, but I still have Connor, Starkey, and Hayden left. I was going to do Hayden first because he's my favorite and I have basically mastered drawing him, but like, I wanted to start from the bottom up, and gosh it's taking so long. I still have more sketching, coloring, lineart, and shading/rendering to do, so I'm literally not going to be posting any other drawings because of how focused I am on this one.

I'm actually dying over here... And my sleep schedule is so ass rn. I'm gonna be a dried plum by the time I'm done...

I wish I had more friends that liked Unwind; No one ik irl has read it or they aren't very into it if they have. Ik a couple ppl on Tumblr that like it, but like, I'm too scared to reach out and ask to be friends or talk (even tho irl I can go up to someone and start a conversation pretty easily 💔). Like, why can't I just talk to ppl, bro. It'd be so fun to talk about the events, our favorite characters, and other parts of the book with someone but I have absolutely no one to do it with. And idk, I feel weird just messaging someone and being like "hey! I saw that you like the same book series as me, wanna be friends and talk about it?" Like nooo 😭 Idc if other ppl do that to me, but I just can't do it myself. I get nervous even commenting on ppls posts. Literally the equivalent of online social anxiety.

Do you think Hayden would sing as a joke at the end of his podcast episodes as an "outro"? I think it'd be so funny, especially if he sang his "I've got you... under my skin..." that he does at the end of his broadcasts in UnDivided. But would he be a good singer? 🤔

Ik these aren't true, but I was just thinking about how Risa and Starkey could literally be siblings with ANYONE. I mean, Risa literally has no knowledge of who her family is, and Starkey only knows his (technically) "adoptive" family. So like, what if Risa or Starkey were siblings with Connor and they just didn't know? I know they aren't, but those two could literally be family with any of the Unwind characters. Imagine if Risa and Connor were siblings 😭 They aren't, but that'd be hilarious if they were - concerning, too. Idk who Starkey or Risa would be family with, but I think it'd be hilarious if they were. Imagine Starkey and Connor were family, that'd be terrible.

Unwind thoughts bc I've been at the lake since 4pm and it's currently 9:53 and the fireworks still haven't started:

Connor and Hayden should've gotten together, though I do love Connor and Risa.

If you think about it, Risa could be siblings with any of the cast but we wouldn't know because Risa is a staho kid.

Hayden probably loves the 4th of July bc he likes fire, and whenever he hears/sees them he giggles likes a maniac.

Lev likes fireworks, but he hates how loud they are. Miracolina has him wear those noise canceling headphones to hear them.

I think the first time Cam probably saw fireworks he cried to Roberta because he thought they were gunshots. It probably took him forever to get over his fear, but now he watches them with Una from his roof.

Connor probably listens to Hayden's radio and wishes he stayed in contact with him. Hayden probably misses Connor and hopes he listens to his radio/podcast.

Hayden misses Starkey because he liked messing with him.

If Connor and Risa didn't ghost everyone, they all would watch fireworks together.
