Hi, hello, tanyan yahi! Nice to meet'cha, my name's Suzie! I'm a 25 year old zoology and veterinary medicine major living in the northern Midwest united states ( GMT-4 ), and roleplaying is my burden. My pronouns are it/its, or she/her if you really must, and i'm a 2spirited femme lesbian. Happy to be here!

   Oh Great Spirit.

   " You guys sure do like putting me in a hard spot, don't you? " she titters, putting her hands up in mock surrender. This was a profoundly difficult question for her. It was like asking someone to pick a favorite child! Or, at the very least she assumed that that's what it was like. She didn't have children.

   Silence settles over her for quite some time. She was obviously mulling over the question in her head, turning it over and around several times before speaking up again.

   " It's hard... Both are fascinating for wildly different reasons. Though, I have to be honest; Part of me wants to say Earth if only because it's so... alien. " A little chuckle escapes her vocalizer.    " Not to sound out of touch, but carbon based life is just so wildly different from what I'm used to that I just can't help but get drawn in. It's half of why I sometimes spend up to a week on the sea floor when I'm in Hawai'i! The team has to force me out of the water sometimes! "

   Nautica speaks quickly and with great enthusiasm; It was obvious she loved her work.

   " Though, the familiarity of Cybertron's waters is... well, it's comforting in it's own way, especially after being off-world for months. Really, I can't pick. I just can't! "

   " Part of me does inevitably wonder what might of happened if I had stayed behind, but... "

   There's that big smile of hers again, finally. " The Lost Light was the best thing that ever happened to me, without a doubt. I never would have gotten to really befriend most of the most important people in my life if it wasn't for that ship. "

   A deep, uncharacteristic frown crests over her face plate. The ridicule, oh she remembers the pit forsaken ridicule. She does well to stop herself from grinding her denta together any more than she already does.

   " Bad. " she says with finality, " We're severed, and we don't talk. I intend to keep it that way. "

what was life like back on caminus?

   " Complicated. "

   The sentimental part of her remembers the best details fondly. The view of the planet the moon orbited constantly swirling in the distance. The long nights spent practicing her diving, with nothing but water and the occasional curious aquatic lifeform to keep her company. She remembers her mentors, and her first sorority, and what her Century Ceremony was like. She remembers meeting Chromia, and Velocity, and Windblade, and how they all changed her life for the better.

   Her smile falters a little. She also remembers the ridicule.

   " For some people, Caminus was perfect. They had everything they could have ever wanted, and I'm happy that they had that experience. It just... It just wasn't mine. It was a good place, at it's core, but it was also intensely corrupt. So much pressure... Pressure to conform, pressure to fit the mold exactly down to the letter, pressure to not fall out too far out of line... "

   She heaves a sigh, glancing off to the side. Her spark felt heavy.

   " It was the kind of place that forced you to ask yourself how much you could take before you ended up snapping at the middle. Does that make sense? "

   " I'd say our battle would be legendary, but we all know the outcome already I think. "

   " By the way, what's that behind you? "

   Nautica's gentle as she pats her amica on the back, other hand curling around the crook of his arm. A fine attempt at steadying him, but there was only so much to be done when a 'Bot was a couple heads taller than you.

   " Yes, I know. " she replies softly, with a small half smile, " You've told me this before. Two other times in fact. And each time, I keep telling you that you need your mass displacement module replaced. "

   She huffs in effort as she brings his arm around her shoulder, and hooks her own around his side. Now, for the trek home.

   " And, you need to stop drinking with other ex-Wreckers! "

    It's funny, what being well rested can do for the brain module. Nautica takes a position she's often in after a nice, refreshing recharge; Slumped over the edge of her tank, optics still adjusting while she does her best to catch up on her various feeds. Reading right after sitting up is a bad habit of hers that she'd promised she'd break, but hasn't made any real attempt to.

    Idly, she rolls past post after post, until she sees something... peculiar. Posts of her own, zealous and made in the midst of her end of the week celebratory bar outing. Her optics widen in growing, dawning horror.

    Oh my god.

    " I said WHAT!? About WHO? " Utter disbelief at her own words, paired with a sudden wash of dread, " And nobody stopped me!? "

    Death would maybe, probably, be preferable to her than anything else right now.

   " Chromia? " Her gaze wanders off to the corners of the room for a bit, losing herself in thought, " Chromia... hm. "

   She tilts her head a bit, resting her cheek on her forearm. " Well, it's a similar situation to Windblade I think. She's definitely more my type, what with the cool colored paint job and gruff attitude, but I certainly wouldn't come between those two, nor do I think she'd be interested. "

   " Windblade has always been more extravagant than me, and I think that's what drew her to her. I'm more... reserved. So I guess a respectful pass, or a 'maybe smash if we were younger and in different circumstances.' "

Oop, got another smash or pass meme while I was in the Jackbox mines with my friends. I'll get around to answering that now cause I think they're fun. I'm gonna try my damnedest to write replies tomorrow. It felt good to get back in the saddle a bit today, hehe. Here's hoping I can keep the energy going, ADHD willing.

   This was an interesting one! Nautica's optics widen a bit at the idea, and she quickly sets her communicator to the side.

   " Oh god, I don't know. She is a flier... " Her type is shining through a little bit here, isn't it, " Though I think she might have a bit too much personality for me. "

   Nautica leans her head in her hand, lips pursed in thought. " Pass, but maybe if she mellowed out a smidgen and took me to dinner first. Maybe. Maybe! "
