psych episode where Gus is recovering from an injury or surgery of some kind that leaves him out of commission and has Shawn being the biggest mother hen to him

Henry almost has to physically drag Shawn away to get him to go work on a case because “Gus is the one who has time off work. Not you”

And Gus is thinking that his ‘vacation’ is really about to begin now that Shawn isn’t hovering over him anymore but every other scene in the episode has Gus trying to go about normal every day things when Shawn is just suddenly there.

Buying groceries? He’s the cashier

Going out to eat? He’s the out of uniform waiter that’s been wiping down the table behind Gus for the past 10 minutes

Driving his car? He’s had the same obvious tail for the past 15 minutes

Listening to music on the radio? Gus has no idea how he did it but somehow during one of the breaks there’s a message on his favorite channel telling Gus specifically to take things easy.

They can’t have Sherlock without his Watson so these moments are spent debriefing Gus on the case but it does also have moments of Shawn being concerned but also like, “why do you wanna be away from me while ur in a vulnerable state. is our friendship falling apart. do u not like me.”

What I think would be a really funny visual is the transitions between scenes with Shawn and the SBPD and him with Gus.

Lassie is busy examining the body when Shawn has an epiphany and when he turns around to talk to him the psychic has just vanished entirely. Completely gone without a trace and no one saw it happen.

And this trend just happens every time he needs to go to Gus; he just vanishes. It even happens to Henry too somehow and he’s like “?? I never taught him that how did he do that”

But maybe at the end he does it to Jules (but to go after the killer not look for Gus) and it just cuts to him running already far away like he did in the mummy episode when they found the van

fear not: you can also “attack” your friends even outside of art fight, so if you miss the chance to before august 2nd you can always get them after with no repercussions. No crime will be committed either way and its actually fine to draw art for others at any other time of the year

being a multishipper in the psych fandom is amazing bc literally all the ships with shawn are amazing. shawn and jules? awesome and cannon! they’re so cute together and i love their dynamic. shawn and gus? perfect!! they’re practically already dating in the show and they match eachothers freak so well. shawn and lassie? wonderful! canonically pan character and the most bi coded man on television in an enemies to lovers situation. shawn is a multishippers dream character bc he could date anyone in the show and id get it
