basic about me stuff: you can call me nat, n, natalie, or any of my online monikers like wavernot4love (i do tend to refer to myself using the latter quite often ,,, as you will see), they he, 25, upstate ny. big scene guy first. i am generally traveling around the northeast 4 live music whenever i can, & i enjoy drawing stuff, writing, n live music photography and sometimes i post that stuff!!!

my interests (besides specific bands albums tv shows etc): warped + general scene lore, traveling 4 shows (travel in general really), BASEBALL!!! specifically it is go (toronto blue) jays (my beloved) <3 always, which leads me to... TORONTO!!! my favorite city 2 spend time in, subway & light rail systems, fun/unique/walkable neighborhoods & areas, mixed bills, festivals, the olympics (!!!), physical media, live music photography, upst8 ny (my home)!!!, nature, specifically the "finding cool veggie food spots" flavor of foodieism, space, museums (particularly science/art/etc types), ocean city maryland (my favorite place 2 spend time in in the summer ever since i was younger), zoology + wildlife conservation, sustainability stuff (especially along the lines of zero waste, buying secondhand, upcycling etc), silly comedies (special props if they are from the 80s/90s), 50s/60s thrillers & horror movies, kirby, ds games (especially mario ones), 2000s aesthetics (think frutiger ones)
random stuff i just find not chill & don't wanna see + stuff you won't see from me on here (idk dawg, felt relevant to add): just being mean/cliquey/rude as a personality trait, going to shows & being a Poo Poo (being rude to supporting bands, getting mad about moshing/surfing, unless someone's actually being crappy of course), the whole twitterish mentality of getting outraged at or overanalyzing/ripping down folks over everything reactively w/o looking into a full situation, explicitly sexualizing + shipping real people beyond their boundaries, overall just being weird about bands like they're ethereal beings instead of Some Guys (gender neutral), basically "celebrity" culture as that only really harms both bands & fans, that kinda stuff. also i feel like this isn't a huge thing here, but please no defending of corrupt status quo politicians that frankly belong in cells for the rest of their lives. corporate centrist scum, even when it has pronouns in bio or w/e, is not your friend
random extra wavernot4love lore: i grew up going 2 shows & fests like warped in the mid 2010s scene, starting when i was 13 (hello monumentour darien). sws, ptv, mcr, fob, bmth, atl, & tøp were some of the first bands i ever really loved. i grew up on a LOT of 2010s pop punk, but over the past few years have been diving into the 2000s scene, especially in terms of post hardcore, much more than i had before!
i travel as much as i can for shows, oftentimes for the past few years, solo (i've grown a lot more confident in that & would always rec it over missing out as long as you take precautions! feel free 2 ask for tips)!!! i also love making stuff like bracelets, keychains, stickers, & pins to give out/trade at shows!!
always trying to make the scene an even bigger part of my life, like through art/design + live music photography + music journalism type stuff. also have always wanted 2 actually make & play music!!
always here to talk music, or be a friendly face if we're ever at the same show - consider me a universal friend of the scene (that's certainly my experience at shows). always feel free 2 interact w my posts/become mutuals/reach out!! if i ever don't respond, it is hands down only because i didn't see it for a while and by the time i logged on and did, felt too embarrassed/awkward to respond then fhdhgdgd
