How I Post
Please read before you make comments about my posts, reblogs, and other contents on my account.
I post differently from others. The following will result in my copying and pasting the reblogs section into the caption field, then removing the reblog section.
I do not use cuss words, so if I reblog something that contains them, they will be removed or substituted with more appropriate words. You are probably thinking, “Just don’t reblog” or something similar. It’s not that simple. I like the message or content of the post, but this is my Tumblr account, and if there are cuss words on my posts, that means I’m using them, which is against my rule.
Another reason I reblog something is that I want to read it again and again, so the post has to be easy for me to read. If there are spelling and grammar errors, it is hard for me to read and understand, so I need to correct them when they are going on my account.
I can’t stand clutter. It makes me very uncomfortable, and stresses me out, so I will do anything to reduce it. I hate Tumblr’s style of posting even though they’ve made improvements. I’m glad they got rid of those vertical gray lines on the Dashboard, but they still appear on the blog pages. The gray lines waste so much space, and push the words so far right with almost no horizontal space, making it hard to read. That’s why I will remove them and use another way to separate different members’ posts. I need to make them easier to read. I will also remove reblog comments or captions that I find unnecessary to reduce clutter. However, the original poster’s words and links will remain. I will just move them to where there would be no gray vertical lines. This is not removing the caption. It’s just moving it to a different location of the post to organize and make it easier to read.
If you can’t put up with my changes, go back to the source or a previous reblog, and use those, but do not complain about how I post, even if the source is your account or if your comments and captions are removed. I did not change anything on your account (or Tumblr blog), and you still have the original intact. If I had gone to your or others’ accounts (or blogs), and made changes there, then you have the right to get upset and complain. This is my account so I need to make it suitable to myself. My account is my business and not yours! Complaining about what I do on my account (including posts and reblogs) is similar to the following:
Going into people’s homes and telling them how they should arrange their furniture.
Giving someone a gift and ordering them how they should use it.
Looking at people’s computers and complaining about the changes they made to contents they downloaded.
I hope you will understand and put up with my way of posting. It is no offense to anyone. I don’t mean to be rude or mean on this post either, but there are just some things that I can’t handle.
