Have some courage as well
It’s ironic how people who proclaim to be honest about their feelings for others also like to be treated with utter delicacy because they are the most sensitive people. C’mon you can’t have it both ways. Learn to care about other person’s feelings and then ask to be treated the same way else be strong enough to to hear honest opinions about yourself.
A good coverup? Well, no.
It’s amusing how being rude is mistaken for being straightforward.
Times up!
I live in a world where 273 children are raped by a gang and no one is hanged, where a 7 year old is harassed and brutally murdered but the police takes no action, where a killer leaves the prison with a victory symbol because money can buy justice.
Why is it alright to let boys talk in whatever tone they want to, to treat girls like trash and make mistakes because yeah boys are immature and basically boys?! They will be forgiven.
Betrayal might not mechanically work the same as a bullet but it causes the same damage, if not worse. It always gets its way to the heart and leaves a deeper , irremediable hole.
No one cares. People are selfish.
“I stopped holding on to people. I stopped revolving my world around them. If they stay, great; and if they don’t, others will come along and replace them, just like others would replace me.” -modestybae
Lesson learnt the hard way.
When people start talking rubbish about you, the best thing to do is let them speak while you walk away from that bullshit because people talk. You cannot simple stop them but neither can(should) you change yourself just because others have a sick mentality and they cannot see you happy.
What is wrong in being an introvert? If you prefer keeping a small group of friends or if you ain't very talkative and so avoid long discussions, what is wrong with that? It doesn't mean that you have some attitude problem or that you are ignoring others. It so doesn't mean that. People have no right to criticise you over that.
It is surprising how I want to write but I have got nothing to write about. That has never happened before. It's upsetting.
The only barriers to the road of success are insecurities and unwillingness.
Spinning, dizzying and falling to the world's choices.
Even if people say that they do believe that inside beauty is actually what matters, hardly anyone in this world actually consider anything besides the looks. Those who do are the best of the humans with beautiful hearts.
In the world of depression, people don’t realise how anything they say, however irrelevant or unimportant it might seem to them, can change the life of the other person. It can even make or break them. It can help the person in the most difficult times and show him a silver lining or shatter everything for him because each person is fighting his own battle, has been through different situations and has learnt to interpret life in a different way. No brain is alike and very person has a different perspective. So it is always best to think before you speak to avoid any collateral damage.
No philosophy, it's just a reality.
If you don't have a good soul, hardly ever will you find good in others.
I’m Listening
by Cymoril_Melnibone
“A good listener” was the most enduring phrase on my school report cards. I was quiet, punctual and obedient. Many of the teachers largely forgot about my presence in the classroom, since I caused no trouble. It’s ironic, that this recurring summation of my character missed something. Certainly I was a good listener, but only because that allowed me to be a much better observer; specifically of other people, and mostly without them even noticing. If anyone had bothered to ask, I could have listed every habit of Kari Pearson, the girl who sat two desks away, or provided a comprehensive psychological profile of my teacher, Mrs Rawlins – although that would have been very much from a child’s perspective. After I left highschool, I started studying to become a psychologist. I must confess, my choice of study was an exercise in academic curiosity right from the start, rather than being born of any great desire to help people. You can’t observe humankind as keenly as I already had without realising how nasty and self-absorbed most of us are. I wasn’t sure that any amount of analysis was going to solve that problem. But as I honed my skills of observation to a wicked edge, I noticed him.
