What are the best places to find roleplayers on Tumblr? Any good tags to search or communities to join?
heya! i don't mind at all! (≧∇≦)ﾉ everyone's approach to finding new rp partners is a little different but typically this is what i do:
personally, i usually follow people based off other people who i write with. BUT if i am looking for new rpers in fandoms that i don't already have on my dash or if i'm starting fresh, i will search tags about what fandom or genre i want to interact with and just add "rp" at the end ( so for example: "#tloz rp" or " #fantasy rp" ) and scroll until i find active rp blogs with promotion posts they have put in that tag. the trick is to use abbreviations and alternate spellings too; some people might not shorthand their tags and instead of using the "tloz rp" tag, they'll use the "the legend of zelda rp" tag instead.
looking up tags like "#rp masterlist" can also be helpful too, it will show you posts of for specific fandoms that rpers interact with in order to find other writers in the same fandom. ( @lookingforroleplayers is a GREAT resource for the rp masterlists; it's pretty much their whole blog, i recommend checking them out! )
another way to go is to make a promo for yourself; you can add a little eye catching graphic if you want, or just introduce yourself and your muse and invite people to rp with you, using the same sort of tags like i mentioned above so that people can find you too !
