she can practically feel the boy judging her . she takes in his appearance , wondering if his costume means he’s an actual hero of sorts or if it’s just that —- a costume . neither would shock her , though she doesn’t think someone so young should be any sort of superhero . but maybe that’s just her .

the snickers stop immediately at that, a scowl crossing damian’s features at the flat retort she gives him. the ‘children’ comment is irking; will people EVER start taking him seriously? they only really seem to after he’s knocked them flat on the ground or fought with them, and it’s annoying. especially when that is not an option.
