Some pixel art of Kascade I made for my website months ago but never posted! I made the bg by applying a gradient to a layer then maxing out "lossy" and tweaking the dither mode in the legacy gif exporter in photoshop.

Soft redesign for Kascade because I was working on making a character line up with my new OCs and I realized how goofy her proportions were in comparison 😂. Also simplified some bits so she's a bit more animatable.

Just realized I never shared Obsidian's ref sheet here, he's Tanzanite's unhinged brother!

Meet Tanzanite! She's a mean girl with a bite to back up her bark. She was born into a wealthy family that operates a gemstone cartel. Her brother; Obsidian, was set to inherit most of the power, but since his betrayal she is now thrust into a leadership role she never really considered preparing for. She is highly manipulative and surprisingly technical - despite her air headedness. Often planting spy gadgets on people. Her loud personality has garnered her something of a reputation, especially online, which is a point of contention amongst her family who prefer to stay in the shadows.

This is a gift piece made for @sanic-atthedisco of her fabulous OC "Moonlit Grotto" as a very early warm up for ArtFight 2024. I really liked the idea of trying to get shiny reflections between the white fur and the crystals. It didn't quite come out as shiny and bling as I wanted but it was still a fun challenge. Her design has very pretty colors!
