oh please she's the mother of her nephews who she loves, of course she won't distance herself from her sister. plus, both of them had very religious upbringings, shelby was able to get away from it with a lot of trauma but her sister was unfortunately brainwashed. i had the same upbringing and turned out a lesbian with religious trauma, but i have cousins who have trauma because of church but still go to church because they don't know other alternatives, so i don't blame the sister that much. if it makes you feel better tho, she is the only sibling she doesn't follow and every time her sister posts bigoted shit she posts the opposite

it's crazy that you are demanding this girl to cut all ties to her sister which would cause her to have to not see her nephews anymore over something she can't control.

her family is deeply religious, there's no way she's single handed changing their minds, the best thing she can do in this situation is what she is doing, not really giving them any platform or associating with them apart from not being hostile.
