WBJEE 2016 Cutoff
About:
cut off can be defined as that minimum number of marks that a candidate must score to proceed further in admission process. It will delimit the number of candidates for admission. If a candidate score marks equal to or more than the cutoff then only they will be considered eligible for further rounds. Otherwise their run for admission ends here only.
West Bengal Jee 2016 Cutoff:
The officials of the exam will decide the WBJEE Cutoff after considering various facts like previous year cutoff, level of exam, type of questions, number of candidates appeared in the exam, etc. In general, there is not much difference in cutoff of consecutive years until and unless there is huge changes in exam policies.
On the basis of cutoff candidates will be placed in a merit list which will decide the preference of the candidates to attend the counseling process. The candidates top in the list will be called first for the counselling. All in all these following things are considered prior to deciding the WBJEE 2015 Cutoff marks:
Total application for the exam.
Total candidates those who actually appeared in the exam.
Available vacant seats.
Reservation criteria followed by the Board.
Level of exam.
After considering all these facts a final cutoff is released by the University. Those who succeed in doing this will be able to attend the counseling and fill the choices for the college according to their preferences.
WBJEE 2015 Cutoff- Tie Breaker:
It is possible that more than one candidate score exactly same marks, then in that case the following tie breaker mechanism will be applied:
Those who score higher marks in Math, Chemistry and Physics will be preferred.
Important:
The questions in WBJEE 2015 will be asked to check the concept of the candidates. The candidates with better concept will qualify in the test. Therefore candidates must keep their concepts clear and should prepare well for the exam to score good marks.
