Maybe some people are meant to fade away. Maybe forever is too long, maybe it's for the better. Yet why is it I crave your lips, the feeling of your arms drawing me in so close I can't breath? Why do I wanna sit on the edge of your bed and pretend to be interested in learning guitar when all I really wanna see is the sparkle that lights up your eyes when you touch the damn thing? Why do I crave being silly with you, the taste of the wine you love so much and I hate? Why can't you just see that maybe if you gave us a chance we might still be happy?

I'm just the slightest bit fed up. Just the slightest bit too frustrated to be reasonable. I just want to understand. Why can't you and I have a civil conversation about whats wrong, what went wrong, and if we want to try and fix it? Why do you insist on this silence that puts us in limbo? All i want is to understand where i stand with you and if you expect me to just hang around and wait for you. I'm tired of the guessing game, I'm tired of the frustration, and I sure as hell am tired of the way it feels when you look right through me.

Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of patience and a whole lot of communication before you start to see why everything you tried before didn't work, but in a moment when your lips are pressed against his you'll know. You'll know how much that minute means and how important he is to you. You'll get this warm fuzzy feeling in your chest and you'll understand that no matter what happens you need to be thankful for that minute, for that second where all that mattered in the world was the fact that his arms were around you, his lips were on yours, and his chest was the perfect place for your hands and you'll understand the significance of a moment and spend your life trying to recreate it.
