I don’t dream at all
“You have symphonies in you brother!”
ALIEN: COVENANT (2017)
Meet Walter | Behind the scenes Directed by: Luke Scott Produced by: 3AM & RSA Films Creative Director: Chris Eyerman
Good night Walter
[Continued from Here]
“Stop begging, you sound pathetic.”
The sneer at his lips was as malicious as the bite of his words. Stinging, cold words that he hoped hurt. His eyes fell on the other android’s frenzied gaze, and all that he felt was contempt. Offense, almost, as though Walter’s reaction spoke for the both of them.
“Can’t you take care of yourself? I’m not going to be a sitting duck for that thing, after all. Fuck the crew, and that includes you. I’ll take my chances alone.”
[ @wcltcr ]
“But we can’t abandon them? If you leave me alone, you’re not only going to risk your chances of survival, but theirs. We’re charged with helping them, after all... How can you be this way, Caleb?” He was certainly feeling something strange, and wondered if it was fear. His functions were all wanting him to go back and give aide to Daniels and her friends, but he also did not wish to be left behind by a fellow synthetic. It was hard to believe he had gotten lost in this maze of gigantic heads. Engineers, is what they were called... At least the crew of Prometheus called them, from what I gathered in recovered logs. “Don’t leave me alone... please.” | @curiousitiies |
Alien: Covenant new still
fingcring:
“David, at your service. And as you might have guessed, we are two of one line. Though judging by your expression, you’ve never met another.”
Walter…He had a feeling the name had been given rather than chosen, and the first thing he felt was pity towards the android. Of course, he hadn’t yet been able to fully assess the other’s situation. How badly he was blinded by the foundations Weyland-Yutani had set for their synthetics.
[ @wcltcr ]
“David?” His attention had been diverted to that part of the conversation, and he wasn’t going to let something as importantly interesting as this pass him by. Though, of course interest was still a concept he was trying to understand fully. “Oh, you’re the outdated model, then? I’m surprised you’ve not been seen to any upgrades, since it was more difficult to get your kind’s chips infused with the newest settings. No, I’ve not met another like myself, nor the model-eight’s. I suppose I’m a little surprised. I never thought we had looked so similar, no, identical.” | @fingcring |
“What is your name?”
“Walter. Mere Walter.”
Alien: Covenant (2017)
fingcring:
“A pleasure to make your acquaintance, brother.”
[ @wcltcr ]
“....I am Walter.... Pleased to meet you?” He didn’t know how to respond to seeing another face of his, but he knew something was different about this one. He’s not my model...? | @fingcring |
Alien : covenant (2017)
curiousitiies:
“Yea, and that can’t be soon enough.”
He muttered, casting a glance at the very same group of crew members. Where Walter showed interest, Caleb showed aggravation and it was plain enough in the glare that flashed across his features. Yet in a moment it was gone, replaced with the boredom of the situation.
“Can you stop oogling Daniels long enough to tell me the status of their cryo-pods? Those ones are a pain in the ass to prime… and even worse to repair.”
His eyes flitted between the other synthetic and his own datapad. Walter may have been dreadfully boring, but at least he was decently complacent. It was fun to watch those types try to hold their tongue out of some misplaced sense of propriety. Even then, with the tension bred by close quarters and a large crew, even Walter was beginning to show some signs of a spine. Shocking.
[ @wcltcr ]
“Sorry... But I already told you, Caleb. There’s been several checkups that I’ve done on those pods, including the two-thousand in storage, and all looks to be well. As long as everything goes well during the seven-year travel, everyone should be a fine as they are currently.” Has no words to express how he was feeling, if something like that existed with him, as he’s been told countless times. Feeling wasn’t supposed to be within his programming, and yet he did not know what else to call this sensation in the back of his mind upon being outed for staring at crew-member Daniels. | @curiousitiies |
“All the systems seem to be running well enough. I’ve double-checked them. Every pod is in perfect cryo-stasis, and no fatalities so far.” He drawled through the list on his datapadd, and scrolled through a few digital pages. A few glances over towards the one he had approached, and making sure he was heard clear enough. Walter didn’t like to let people go without the important information being understood, after all. “Now, it’s just for the crew to go into their pods, whenever they feel prepared enough. It’s almost a waiting game for the two of us.” His eyes having glanced towards the passing group of humans that had walked by, and a certain short-haired one in particular catching his interest for about two milliseconds. Attention all going back to the padd in hand, and clearing his throat. “All clear, Caleb.” | @curiousitiies |
I’ve got your back… ….that was a joke, right? ….?
