Hysteria and Infinite relationship head canons, some platonic some romantic

☆-Hysteria is the only one allowed to touch Infinite's hair or ears. Anyone else is losing a hand. (With the exception of Amorette and Iris later on)

☆-Infinite is a clingy drunk, and will refuse to leave Hysteria's side at all if hes intoxicated to any degree. The thought of public embarrassment entirely leaves this man's head.

In addition to that, Hysteria likes washing Infinite's hair.

☆-They will often wear each other's clothes around—provided they fit well enough—and share a closet since Ria's house is pretty small.

☆-Hysteria will toss her legs over Infinite's if she's sitting with him while reading.

☆-They have a whole easy flowing morning routine before leaving the house that they dont even realize they have. Hysteria could stick her hand out while putting her shoes on, and Infinite would drop her keys into her hand without thinking about it. It's just muscle memory at this point.

☆-Infinite did not want ANYBODY but him and Ria near Amorette when she was first born. Too worried about germs and the potential of someone accidentally hurting her.

☆-While Amorette was being born, Infinite would NOT sit down. Nobody could get him to. He paced the hallway practically until there was a ditch in the tile floor from him dragging his feet.

In addition, while Infinite was out in the waiting room with everyone else—Hysteria's friends—he made Shadow wait in the next room over, watching through a glass pane. Of course, Hysteria had to beg him to let Shadow come at all.

☆-Infinite reluctantly went to Amy for advice about how he should confess to Hysteria.

☆-Infinite was actually the first to say "I Love You."

☆-Infinite helps Ria decorate the hard to reach spots during holidays. He won't admit it, but decorating is his favorite part—right alongside watching holiday movies late at night with Ria.

☆-When Infinite and Hysteria go shopping, Infinite ALWAYS carries the bags. He makes it seem like Ria makes him, but he actually just refuses to let her carry them. He has SOME gentlemanly qualities, despite being an ass.

☆-Hysteria and Infinite basically tag out on whos up during times of the day. You knock on their door at 10am, Ria answers and you only see her in the house. You knock at 12am? Infinite answers—well, if you even get that. There's a good chance he won't open that door. Infinite is a night owl, Hysteria is an early bird.

☆-Infinite knows how to dance and taught Hysteria, though he will only dance with her inside the house. If anybody else found out his reputation would be ruined (This changes after marriage, where hes extremely proud of his wife. "Thats my WIFE suckers" type shit.)

☆-Infinite can cook, but he rarely ever does. Lazy ass.

☆-Infinite always gets sick whenever Ria gets sick, without fail. When they actually get together, hes decided hes already gonna get sick anyways, so he ends up resting his head on her chest because the weight makes her feel better.

Designed my freaks in Pulse RP like I always do, so here's the designs

Val—short for Valentine—Metal and Amy's kid. I think his design is probably the coolest. He looks very much like Metal, but I didn't want him to just be a carbon copy of Metal but with green eyes, so I gave him a sort of "2.0" feel to his design, like hes a better version of Metal

Hysteria and Infinite head canons:

(First off big old thank you to @totallyvenus for letting me use this AMAZING art and for the creation of the beautiful specimen we know as Hysteria)

* Infinite would be caught singing white girl music while doing a basic household chore

*Infinite would get drunk at a karaoke bar and start singing like Flambae from Dispatch then promptly have to be taken home by Hysteria

*Infinite would sacrifice himself for Hysteria’s sake, wether it be because she’s in danger or because it’s her own good, I imagine it like the song “I Am Damaged” from Heathers the musical

*Infinite would like banana pudding with the little Nilla wafers, he would keep a stash in the fridge, Hysteria would wake up one night to notice he isn’t in bed and come down to see him sitting slumped against a wall eating banana pudding

*Infinite’s ears are very sensitive, he would be able to sense people trying to touch them before they did and catch them, but when Hysteria tries he doesn’t even notice and flinches upon contact

*They would like sitting in a field together, Infinite wouldn’t admit it though

*Infinite would give his mask to his child once he thinks their ready to take over, kinda like how a Cubone wears it’s mother’s skull

Starting to use this to write a little bit, so enjoy my little one shot ft. My little freaks of nature (Hysteria) and Infinite the Jackal, in which Hysteria learns about Infinite's real name; (Zero)

I should mention, in my oc's little au, Infinite was badly injured after the end fight in Sonic Forces. We're talking barely moving injured—and the Phantom Ruby's power was extremely drained, both from exerting himself so much during the final fight and from the main power source and backup power source both being destroyed.

Strangers In The Night

Something about Hysteria made him comfortable. That wasn't supposed to happen—he wasn't supposed to get comfortable around her, God forbid develop an attachment. Yet, here he was, sitting outside with her on the grass under the stars in the backyard of their shared abode.

Infinite hadn't forgotten how this had all started, being found in the woods at his weakest moment. Yet, despite the fact that he had tried to kill her months prior to that, she still tried to help him—even though he fought her the whole time, despite being too weak to do anything besides some light shoving. Hysteria had taken care of him, even despite his incessant complaining, whining, and telling her he didn't need it—he did—and had eventually just allowed him to stay with her. And despite his better judgement, he stayed. She intrigued him more than anything he told himself, that's why he was staying. But deep down he knew that wasn't the case. He stayed because he had nowhere else to go, nobody else who would even consider giving him any speck of sympathy—but it was fair, given he tried to end the world and everyone on it. Why Hysteria had given him that sympathy and care was beyond him—hell, beyond her too. Not even she really knew why.

But here they were anyways, laying in the grass during something that had become a bit of a weekly ritual for them over the months they had lived together. It was quiet, the only sound being crickets chirping and the occasional frog croak. Neither of them had said anything to each other for a while, but it was a comfortable silence—something he'd come to enjoy about these kinds of moments. Though, that silence was inevitably interrupted.

"Sometimes I wonder if it was you that pulled me into this dimension." Hysteria spoke up, her voice soft in the quiet atmosphere, like she was afraid to break the moment of peace.

Infinite thought about her words for a moment. There was a very real chance he could've, the Doctor was working on the Phantom Ruby prototype during that period. "Perhaps." He settled for.

Hysteria was quiet again for a moment, but he knew that silence. That was the "I have a question to ask you, but I don't know if you'll get mad" silence, and matching facial expression. He'd come to be able to read those quite well as of recent.

"Ask. I already know you want to say something." He spoke up, voice growing a bit gruff.

"...What were you like before all that? Before the Ruby?" Hysteria asked hesitantly. There was a very large possibility he would just get up and head back inside the house without another word, it had been a habit of his when he didn't want to answer her personal questions.

And he almost did get up and walk inside. But for some reason—maybe the peaceful scene around them, or the gentle way she asked the question—he didn't. He remained quiet for a long while, likely considering how to answer, before speaking again;

"I was a mercenary." He decided to give a simple, minimal-information answer.

Hysteria setup, looking over at him with a tilted head. "I know that already."

He rolled his eyes, which made Hysteria's ears twitch in slight annoyance.

"Is it so bad that I want to get to know you a little better?" Hysteria asked, growing a little snappy with him.

He always got like this when she asked him about his past. It was almost like he was ashamed of, or his past bored him. Though, this time, he seemed to be considering actually saying something to her—though it wasn't quite clear whether he was cooking up a smartass remark or not.

"...I had a squad, a mercenary squad." He began, catching Hysteria a bit off guard. She laid back down, listening to him talk. "You already know I was the Ultimate Mercenary." His chest seemed to puff out a little as he stated that fact, still proud of his title even now.

Hysteria's ears twitched as she listened, genuinely intrigued by the fact that he seemed to be opening up a bit.

"There isn't much I have to tell you about them, but they were likely the closest thing I had to real family. I let them get taken down." He looked a bit disappointed in himself for a brief moment, before it was quickly masked by his usual indifference. Hysteria knew he was talking about Shadow, she'd heard the story from him before. "I don't talk much about them anymore."

Hysteria gave a small nod. She could see why with the way he was. "At least you enjoyed your time with them, Infinite." She hummed softly, not entirely knowing what to say. She wasn't always the best at comfort—especially words of comfort—but she had been steadily learning from Amy.

"...Zero." Infinite corrected rather quietly, one of his ears twitching slightly. It caught Hysteria off guard, and she didn't quite know what he was correcting.

"...Huh?" She offered a head tilt of confusion.

"My name." He clarified, like it was obvious. "It was Zero."

"Zero..." Hysteria tested out the name a bit, considering how it sounded. "Do you mind if I call you that?" She asked, her voice softening again.

Infinite considered that for a minute. The name reminded him of an old life, one where he viewed himself as weaker than he currently was. Yet somehow, the way she said it, and the way she asked to use it, it almost sounded appealing to him.

"...Fine." He finally huffed out, crossing his arms over his chest.

Hysteria's ears flicked forward at his approval, and a dumb smile he always wanted to wipe off spread across her face.

"Zero." She tested it out again, glancing over and staring at him—though he refused to look at her. "...It's cute."

That made him freeze, his ears perking up and tail fluffing up a bit. He abruptly got up from the ground, brushing the grass and dirt off of him. "I'm going to bed, Ria. Goodnight." He spat out rather harshly, but there wasn't any real heat behind it.

She smiled wider at his reaction, watching him storm off into the house.

"Zero..." She hummed, looking back up at the stars. "Zero..." She quite liked the sound of it. She decided it was something she would call him when it was just the two of them, not wanting others to hear. That was something just for her.
