Ok. Ive thought of cryptid Dreamnoblade more and:

Dream is just some guy (rip) but like... deals with cryptids every week like theyre drawn to him or something

Mostly theyre nice! Sometimes... not. But he doesnt question it. Maybe is like weird dream lol and moves on with his life until

Techno, think bigfoot but pigman. He sees no cars coming and decides to make a run to the other side (he saw some food or something)

Gets hit by a car (Dreams car)

So dream panics like oh god oh fuck, brings him home (what is he going to tag him to a vet? A doctor? Who knows? Not him!)

Bandages him up and goes to bed... and when he wakes up he has to deal with the fact that those 'dreams' werent in fact dreams.

While Techno has to deal with the nice human who kinda sorta kidnapped him, but hey at least hes cute!
