Eating my feelings
Trying
I got my period today, we’ve been TTC this past month, obviously I know the chances of it happening that quick are slim, but a part of me was really hoping :(
What if?
I always think about the what ifs. What if I didn’t have a miscarriage? What would I be feeling like now? I would be 17 weeks pregnant now and not a day goes by when I don’t think about what if.
Baby loss awareness week is this week and I can’t help but feel extra sad tonight when I think about it all. My body has physically recovered but my mind and heart still hurts.
If anyone out there is feeling the same then I’m there with you ❤️❤️❤️

I last posted about my worries about infertility, a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. We felt the happiest ever. We spent the next five weeks planning the rest of our lives with our little babe.
I felt like something wasn’t right so we booked a private scan at what we thought was 10 weeks. We found out that our little babe had stopped growing at 5 weeks and there was no heartbeat. We were devastated, we never thought that this is how our first pregnancy would go. The week that followed was awful, both mentally and physically, lots of scans and visits to the hospital.
We had decided to tell our parents when we were around 9 weeks, they were all so excited to be grandparents for the first time, it was awful to have to tell them that this wasn’t the case a few weeks later.
It’s almost a month since it all happened now and I’m starting to feel normal again. Everyday I think about it all, what could have been but everyday it gets a little bit easier.
We have decided to start trying again in the next few months and hopefully we will have our rainbow baby one day.
I’m not writing this because I have loads of followers who care, I’m writing it because I need to speak.
Miscarriage is such a taboo subject, why does no one talk about it? I didn’t know the statistics, but unfortunately I am one in 4.
Please if anyone is experiencing the same thing or does one day, reach out to someone, reach out to me, it’s healthy to talk about it.
I carried our babe for a short moment, but they will always be remembered and never ever forgotten.
I’m terrified that I have PCOS, I have all the symptoms and the more I read about it the scarier it gets. I’m probably just over thinking and being stupid, nothing is final till I’ve spoken to a doctor. I’m crossing my fingers that we will be able to have children naturally, but the way my body is going I’m starting to lose hope!

he had the AUDACITY to ask this knowing EXACTLY how we feel about it.
