the WHF bug has bitten me again, so i wanted to briefly talk about Alanā¦
i am and always will be grateful for what that time in my life has brought me- friends, creative opportunities, exploration of my characters with othersā¦ but i am also grateful that i have moved away from writing him.
i created him at a more immature and unhealed time in my life, and thus he was messy. i made some writing decisions i otherwise wouldnāt have made if i wasnāt in that period of my life.
this isnāt to say iām some bastion of health and maturity, but i feel like itās important to acknowledge my growth, as well as how i feel about Alan and what his existence meant (and means).
thank you for letting me share him with you all. i hope to create new OCs soon and hopefully start posting to tumblr again (no promises, i donāt post much online these days).
