(Disclaimer, I have yet to play Act 2 so if any of the information clashes against the story or doesn't fit at all, do pardon it 🙏🏻 I personally also have been avoiding spoilers for Act 2, 3 and the DLCs so please bare with me 😭 The stuff here aren't final so I will definitely update them as soon as I play through the game)

Ophelia Hirthe grew up alone with her dad, Martin Hirthe, who was a senior Constable himself (a Red Bobby, specifically) and he was the one who brought her up into the constabulary.
Mum left them, away from Wellington Wells a long time ago, and her dad says she was a deadbeat who despised the family, which brought up Hirthe's complicated love-hate wonder for her mother.
Her dad was an aging old man and health complications finally got the best of him and soon passed, leaving Hirthe to live alone in their house, continuing her duty as a constable.
However, the memories start flooding back in and she realizes maybe her mother wasn't the villain she thought she was, and her dad might actually be hiding something. Additionally, she finds some old letters hidden in the house that came from her mother, and some even directed to Hirthe herself. All of them presumably kept away by her dad. But this struck a revelation to Hirthe that her mum might be still alive out there somewhere. So at the end, she pledges to escape Wellington Wells in the hope to find her mother and to uncover the truth, along with Sally and Gwen.
Anyways, that's about it 👅👅👅 I am so eager to make more content of her soon. I love my girl so much

Evening Meeting
An unexpected knock came at the Joy Doctor’s door in the middle of the night, startling him out of his clinical notes. “Yes?” he called out, receiving a mumbled reply. “You can open the door, you know.” As the door slowly opened, the doctor could see a familiar sight: his most beloved constable. “What’s the matter, dear? You look a bit flushed.”
“Well, I was havin’ to, uh, gather up me courage to knock…” The Bobby fidgeted shyly with the hems of his gloves, a habit that had endeared the doctor to him.
With a chuckle, the medicine man patted his leg, then motioned further for the other to come closer when he just stood there uncertainly. Once the constable was close enough, the doctor got out of his chair and embraced him. A surprised sound left the officer, pulling another lighthearted laugh from the doctor.
Before the Bobby could ask what was so funny, his lips were granted a kiss and his hips were firmly grabbed. A light shudder of surprise ran up his spine from the contact, and his face became even redder. When the kiss broke, he just stared dumbly at the man in front of him, eyes half-lidded and shoulders relaxed.
“There you are… Nice and calm. Come, sit a while and tell me what you’ve been up to. I could really use a break from my notes.” The Joy Doctor gave the other a soft smile before leading him to sit together on the plush couch along the wall. “I’m all ears.”
The two talked for hours together, entangled in each others’ embrace. After the long days they had, they needed it.
Chinatown Wars deserved more attention than it got. Nearly twenty years later, Rockstar’s handheld experiment still feels fresh. It’s full of clever ideas and feels even better on modern dual-screen hardware like the Ayn Thor.
