Spanking is an excellent way to tame a boy and prevent recidivism in his more unruly behavior. In one way, Sir is demonstrating to the boy that he has a role and responsibilities to fulfill and there are consequences to ignoring them. In another, he’s telling the boy that he’s worth Sirs time.
