You better start savin’ the date, we got some amazing news! On May 6th we’ll be rockin’ da’ stage of the brand new AVIVA FESTIVAL. This will be our very first time being part of the lineup of a big festival and we just can’t hold the excitement!! 🕺🏾

Our homie Nora Norman will be headlining the festival but we’ll also have the opportunity of sharing the stage with bands like Chotokoeu, Papawanda, Noise Nebula, Spin Te Kú and many others!

Check out this groovy review from photographer Julián Callejo of our last concert opening for Belgium artist Sam Renascent on June 2nd, 2016. Here’s a direct translation for all you english speaking #GrooveWarriors out there:

“Da 'Groove Machine claimed quite forcefully those years when Soul and Rock had not yet been weaned and still shared evidence of a close relationship. A time when you could do Rock with (honest) black spirit or black music with a rocker’s wounds all over you body. Or when innocence was a force of nature. Today you can listen to them as a band able to please or displease people of both sides, sides that are to some degree opposing. For example, too far from Funk for a guy like me but, nevertheless, a powerful and vintage sound of fierce animals in fields of daisies. And that, well, has its charm.”

We had such a great time last night at Café La Palma opening for Sam Renascent! Be sure to check out his live shows, Sam is a true performer and artist. Hopefully we’ll run into each other again in the future.

So, what now? Our next show has got us PUMPED. We’ll be closing the first night of the "Alcalá Es Música" music festival!!! More than 80 bands will be playing throughout the weekend on stages spread throughout the historical city of Alcalá de Henares, home of the Quixote. Can’t wait to share da' groove with a whole bunch of new people from one of the main squares -Plaza Cervantes- in the city on a stage with 40.000w of PURE POWER.

Yup. We shall GROOVE!

Da‘ Hard Funkin’ Pics | El Junco 11MAR16

Last week's show here in MAD City (Madrid) was out of da' wooorld!!! We want to give a shout out and a big groovy THANK YOU! to all of those #GrooveWarriors who made it to El Junco last Friday. We funkin'-rocked da' hell out of that jazz club!

Another huge thanks to the in-house audio tech, Roy, for doin' such a great job. You made us sound right, broda! We highly recommend this venue to local and international bands and want to also thank Carlito Groove, the man who hired us: dude, thanks for the opportunity and for having such a kick-ass last name!

Sometimes wonderful and unexpected things happen, #GrooveWarriors! You wake up one day and in no time you end up closing a gig as the opening act for Xarim Aresté. Yup! On Saturday March 5th at 22.00h, Da 'Groove Machine will have the honor of opening for Xarim Aresté and his band at the legendary Sala El Sol in Madrid. Xarim won Enderrock’s award for “Best Pop-Rock Album of the Year” (2015) and he is surely one of the most authentic and interesting artists in all of Spain.

We wanna give a shout out and a huge thanks to Ermengol Mayol, Xarim Aresté, the managers and all of the production team for making this possible! Spontaneity and good vibes are also Rock and Roll, that’s why we want you know that we would love to have you there sharing this great moment for us. Let's groove!
