I've recently been revisiting a game my little sister and I used to play on the Xbox ALL the time! lol maybe back around 2006 or 2007 (the game came out in 2005)
idk what made me think about it last week, but one day last week I just thought about it, found out on google there was a PC version and out of curiosity I looked to see if it was possibly available on Steam, and it was! It was on sale too for just a little over $7
it's why I haven't been playing much sims lately lol
BUT I decided I wanted to try to make the main character, Colton White, in the sims!
which was SO hard lol, cause from some angles his face looks more rounded and filled out, but in other angles its longer and more narrow SO frustrating! lol so I tried to go somewhere in the middle of long and narrow and round and filled out and I finally settled on something, it's not 100% but if I didn't finally settle on something I could've played around with his face shape for the rest of my day lol
Obviously there was no way to make him look roughed up or "older" other than to make him an adult instead of a young adult but I prefer starting sims out as young adults so I have more time to play with them, luckily the beard option I gave him helped a little bit but, what can ya do 🤷♀️
good - because he always tries to do what's right, even though he flip flops from one side to the other
Loyal - which I guess is a contradiction because he switches "sides" but there was lack of any other good traits to choose from so 🤷♀️
and then loves the outdoors because I really couldn't think of another decent trait to give him, other than "rancher" maybe, but he's not really a rancher so I just settled on "loves the outdoors" idk
and his aspiration is "master of grudges" because of the storyline of the game, I don't want to "spoil" any of it but he's out for revenge against someone who killed his father
anyone else familiar with this game at all? Seems like it's mostly unknown by a lot of people which is really too bad because it's such a fun and slightly underrated game, I haven't played a whole lot of "Red dead redemption" because I got stuck on a level I just COULD not beat and lost interest in it
but its similar to "Red dead redemption" it has an open world, storyline gameplay but also there's side quests you can do like bounty hunting, pony express, helping the marshals and ranchingalso mining gold to make money as well
(if you're like me) it's hard enough to keep your interest, but not so hard to where it's no fun to playit's a REALLY fun game and I forgot how much fun it was until I started playing it again, I've been having a lot of fun with it, if only there was a way to recreate it in the sims 4 lol!
At least I can create the characters, that's something I guess
He's on my gallery for anyone interested WeAreSimFamily
