Hello, friends! Spaghetti here. I’ve done a soft reboot of the kiddos, and now they’ve moved out of my main blog into a blog of their own *sniffs and dabs eyes* they grow up so fast 🥹

🎶: Ah, yes. Nothing says “happy birthday” more than getting jumpscared by my brother first thing when I get home and then listening to him sing Happy Birthday off-key. Pretty sure he did that on purpose

Anyway, I’m one year older, have probably consumed one too many pieces of cake, and I got some cool presents. Mom and Dad gave me some sound mixing stuff so I can work on my music, which is super awesome, and I’m also now the proud owner of a caterpillar named Phil, I guess (Lilly found it, and Kota named it, in case you were wondering)

But the best part was seeing how much my friends and family love me all day. Thanks, guys 🙂

🏆: Well. Work sucked today. Not only were we super busy again, but I got lowkey yelled at three times in the span of one hour for being too slow on the register. Ugh. People got no patience anymore

🏆: Guess who survived another year of existence? This guy!

Would’ve posted earlier, but the Dairy Dragon has been absolutely PACKED due to the heat wave we’ve been having. But! I got a free root beer float with birthday cake ice cream from work, so that’s cool

All in all, had a great birthday! Stay cool, stay hydrated, and come visit the Dairy Dragon for our $1 vanilla cones! (I won’t be there, ‘cause I just got off work, but I’ll be there tomorrow!)

•For all: Do you prefer taking care of or the kids yourself, letting you wife do it, or calling a babysitter (can be relatives)? I’m assuming some kids can be more of a handful than others. 😅

🐲: Asisi took care of the twins for the most part when they were young, but sometimes I’d carry one of them around while instructing the students

🪨: Whenever one of the boys can’t pick her up from school, Lilly catches a ride with Faith on the bus and hangs out at the Walker’s until either me or Seliel can come get her

❤️‍🔥: Well…things were kinda rough for awhile, but I’d occasionally watch Aiden while Sky worked. It helped a lot with building that relationship between us

⛄️: When Piper was still…young, I suppose you could say…she was very curious and tended to get into things she should not be getting into. Someone had to keep a very close eye on her at all times until she learned better, usually Pixal

⚡️: Nya and I took pretty even turns watching the kids while the other was working. For date nights, Kai is our go-to babysitter…for reasons that are obvious, but I still don’t know why we let them hang out with him

🐍: Me. Rye usually hangs out at the bakery after school and helps out a little until closing time. Either that, or we just chill at home

🥧: I’m the one who keeps an eye on him whenever Frak and Sora need some time away. Sometimes at my place, sometimes just calling every few hours to check in on him at their house

•For Cole: What was it like having two step sons in the beginning? Was is hard for you?

🪨: It was very hard for a while. Kota opened up to me pretty quickly, but Blake had a much, much harder time. Even though it was hard, I tried my best not to push them into accepting me. I never asked for Father’s Day cards or hugs or anything from them, because I wanted it to be their choice whether or not to see me that way

I’ll never forget the day Blake first called me ‘Dad’. It wasn’t some heartfelt moment or anything, just came out during a conversation. *laughs* I’m not sure who was more surprised by it, him or me. But I’m thankful they both gave me a chance, and I’m super proud of the two of them

•For all: What’s your favorite vacation spot you’ve been with the family?

🪨: Shintaro. We took the family for the first time just last year, and it was so great. It was nice to see the place again. Vania got to meet the kids. I think Lilly was a little awestruck by her. She kept following Vania around the palace and stuck to her side the entire time during our tour

⚡️: We never really vacationed anywhere outside of Ninjago when the kids were small, just went to the beach for a few hours. I think the biggest trip we’ve ever taken was going to Imperium a couple years ago. That was pretty fun. Nothing too disastrous happened, so that’s also a plus

⛄️: I…don’t believe we’ve ever taken a vacation as a family. Hmmm…I may have to remedy this

❤️‍🔥: Yesterday, the three of us went to this rec center to celebrate me and Aiden’s birthday and Father’s Day. It was pretty fun (even though Aiden beat me in mini golf…). We may have to make it an annual thing

🐍: We took a vacation to Metalonia once. Something to do with Sora’s job at Borg Industries? I don’t remember exactly, but we made it a whole family trip. I had no idea Metalonia was actually so nice. The people there were really friendly, and the mountains were beautiful

🥧: I don’t usually join them on trips like that, but I did go with them to an amusement park once because they got a deal on four admission tickets. So…there’s that

🐲: We went to the City of Temples a few years back for a history event they had going on. I actually learned a lot of things while we were there. It’s a really great place full of history on elemental powers and their various masters

frak tell us about your's and sora's wedding (from @winterwolf1123)

🐍: Oh wow. Ok. Um…we held it in the courtyard at the monastery. I *laughs* remember being so nervous that I kept causing the ground to shake and everything. Just a bit. Arin actually helped a lot with calming me down and keeping me from causing a major earthquake, which I’m super grateful for because that would’ve been bad heh

It was early spring, so it was a little cold and kinda drizzly, but I remember seeing her for the first time, and I swear the clouds parted as she walked into the courtyard. She was beautiful. Not a full wedding dress (she said she didn’t want to go all out), but she was gorgeous anyway. Her hair was loose, and she had a crown of white daisies on her head. And her smile. Her smile told me this was what she wanted, that she wanted me, and immediately, everything was solid and still

Lloyd performed the ceremony. He’d probably deny this, but I’m pretty sure he was crying a little bit as we exchanged rings. I don’t remember who kissed who at the end. I want to think Sora kissed me, but I’m not sure. Might’ve been me who kissed her. Anyway, I just remember feeling so at peace with everything after that. It’s a little hard to describe

Afterwards, we all went to the hangar bay for the reception, and I about choked on the piece of cake Sora shoved in my mouth. We ate. We danced. Wyldfyre kept trying to throw wads of cake at people. All in all, it was one of the best days of my life
