I've said this before, I never want to claim that I am an Enlightened Man who could never unintentionally enact misogyny and doesn't need to ever examine any of my actions, but some of the things people say about women on this website are so completely unfathomable to me. Like I live on Earth and am aware of my surroundings so I know that "men are the only people with complex interiority and women are too susceptible to the vagaries of their immediate environment to have agency" is a pervasive cultural belief. But I don't know how you can write out an explanation of your own motivations in focusing on men over women in fiction that is visibly saturated in that belief and not look at what you've written and come to some sort of realization about what you're saying
