The Great Breakfast Haiku Challenge
Ms. Megan Moore, brilliant and candid author of Foodie Can’t Fail, is one of my most cherished ladies. As a breakfast enthusiast in her own right, she’s also probably the number one enabler of my dirty, little breakfast habit.
The other day, she sent me this link to a Saveur post full of breakfast poems, which got me thinking, I bet you guys could really whip up some super breakfast haikus. And such was the impetus for the first-ever WBF Breakfast Haiku Challenge. (Now, officially, a thing.)
Here’s how it’ll go down:
You shall submit your original breakfast-inspired haiku to [email protected] or by tagging us on Instagram (@webreakfast). Deadline’s Friday, May 15, 2015. Unbeknownst to Megan, she will be helping me to judge this little experiment enormously successful poetry extravaganza. I’ll post my favorite poems shortly thereafter and send the winner a we break fast. t-shirt. Okay, go!
