I would like to become a wedding planner so this is my blog. I am Erica.
So far it’s in the midst of being created, things are queued daily.
It will have proposals, engagements, ceremonies, dresses, rings, songs, cakes, food, flowers, colour schemes, couple photos, photos, guests, etiquette, venues, budget & money, tips, ideas and D.I.Y.
Most of this information is from an online course I did at Humber in Ontario, Canada and does not belong to me. Other bits of information are things I have found and collected on the internet, through magazines and self-help books.
I will try to source everything, but if anything of yours is posted by mistake, let me know and of course, I shall give it proper credit.
Holy. I didn't realize that people were sending me messages! I'm so sorry. I've just started the Special Events Planning program at George Brown College. I promise new information will be updated as soon as I get the chance. As well, I will definitely make time next week to answer questions!
It annoys me how little time I've had to myself, let alone any time to queue stuff majorly. I'm so exhausted if I do have time. I know there are a few messages, but they're going to have to wait until later. I'm sorry. If you come off anon, I'll type out quick replies and send them to you privately later.
Is it weird that I'm happy for her? I know that the rest of the media has been all up on her case with her love life and whatnot, especially since Friends and Brad Pitt. However, I love happy Jennifer. :)
"And for the first time in my life, I had that feeling. You know, like the world is moving all around you, all beneath you, all inside you, and you're floating." ― Juli Baker
"She didn't just barge into my life. She barged and shoved and wedged her way into my life." ― Bryce Loski
Well, actually, now that I think of it, I’d say one of my favorites and one that I am very similar to would be Juliet. She is very strong and smart and confident, but she is also vulnerable in love and struggling to shake the overwhelming power and control of her family. She is a fighter, a romantic, and at times a cynic. Maybe she is the best and worst version of me, and that's why she is one of my favorite characters.
Troian Bellisario in an interview when asked what fictional character does she relate the most to.
Juliet is such a famous fictional character in romance, I feel as though this relates to my wedding blog. Actually, screw it. This is my blog. I can post this just because I feel like it. :3 This is going to go under my new tag: love quotes.
I guarantee there'll be tough times. I guarantee that at some time, one or both of us is gonna want to get out of this thing. But I also guarantee that if I don't ask you to be mine, I'll regret it for the rest of my life, because I know, in my heart, you're the only one for me.

I have a couple more messages in my box (awh) but I'm going to reply to them later, as to not completely clutter everyone's dashboard.
However, I'll be queuing posts. I have requests for boudoir examples and a few requests for more vows (I like that those are kind of popular~ ahahah). Is there anything else anyone would like me to post?
are you in love and what would your vows be? i really like the vows that you have put on your blog. the chuck ones were cute
Chuck is a great show. If you don't watch it already - go watch it. It's worth your time. You'll fall in love :3I am in love, but single 'cause things get messy. Ahhhh, I feel a bit young to write out vows but some other anon asked me for them too. Personally, my vows at this particular moment (if I was older, however) would go like so:Dear _____,
It's been a wild, messy journey to get to this exact moment. I couldn't imagine going through this journey with anyone else. If someone had asked me if I thought I'd get married a few years ago, I would have gotten sweaty palms and started to stutter. Commitment scared me. It's a terrifying thought, to vow you'll always be true to one person. There are billions of people in the world, and you have to choose to stay with one. I don't feel as though I've lived life yet, and I feel like I have so much more to offer the world. However, when I think about standing here and saying 'I will always love you' to you, I don't get sweaty palms and I'm not stuttering. With billions of people in the world, I feel as though I've fallen in love with the very best one. I vow to stay true to you, to love you and cherish you, to hate you when you piss me off, to call you out when you're being stupid and to kiss you happily every night before we go to bed. I vow to live my life and offer the world something better than just me - us. More than anyone on earth and I love you better than everything in the sky.
Do you have thoughts on how to deal with divorced parents? They're the POB and not on good terms! The wedding's in November, and they refuse to be anywhere near each other! I know your blog is about budgeting and ideas and stuff, but as a wedding planner, you'll prob have to deal with this kinda stuff, right!?
Yeah, I'll have to deal with this stuff. This is my advice, you can take it or leave it. I'd need to know more details to really feel confident to give you advice, but anyway. Say whatever you think applies. If I were you, I'd sit them down with your S.O. (even if you have to do it sitcom style and not let the other know they're coming) and say, "I understand that you two do not like each other anymore, and that the divorce was hard on both of you. However, this isn't wedding about you or how you might feel you have failed. This wedding is about your daughter and the fact that she's getting married to someone she loves. She needs her parents to set a good example for her. Not all marriages end in fairy tales, but are you really going to ruin your daughter's chance at one? She needs to know that even though it didn't work out for you, you two were mature enough to see that her wedding is a happy day."
AHHHHHHH FRIENDS VOWS. <3 Are you going to post more vows from different TV shows and movies? YOU SHOULD MAKE PHOTOS WITH VOWS WRITTEN ON THEM.
Hahaha, I could try that. I'm not sure how much time I'll have and that seems like a lot of work. Perhaps one day? To answer your question, yes, I'm going to try to post vows from different tv shows and movies! If you have any requests, send them my way.
Hi there :) All the best for when you study event planning! I'm at my last year of high school and I'm thinking of doing business management and majoring in event management. I was wondering if you could let me know what attracted you to wedding planning and events? Thank you!
Hi! :3 Thank you very much.
One of the reasons why I want to do wedding planning (more so than other events) is because it's such a beautiful thing to create. No two weddings are alike, just as no two people are completely alike. I want to surround myself in something where I can utilize my planning and organizing skills, place myself in a stressful environment which I secretly love and thrive on and be able to watch the outcome be beautiful. I personally think there's something more than romance with weddings. It's not just the joining of two people, but the celebration with people you care and don't actually care about. It's being able to celebrate your love for another human being in an messy, perfect way. I want to be able to help people make one of their happiest days, their happiest day. I personally think I have good people skills and I like meeting new people.I want to be part of the magic and the thrill. I would love to be able to plan a huge ball for royalty. That'd be my ultimate dream, I think. To be able to throw this huge, fantastic party. Then when all the stressful stuff is out of the way, I can step back, relax and watch all of my work come together in a beautiful way.I hope that answered your question! :3
So I got sick and then I've been busy lately. HOWEVER, Monday I'm completely free as I am not going to Toronto. Therefore, I promise to answer all your questions and get some posts in the queue again. I'll devote at least four hours. I promise! Thank you :)
I have Bree Van De Kamp's voice (she's from Desperate Housewives) lecturing me in the back of my head...'cept I'm a young lady.
My queue is empty at the moment, and I've been too busy to add things. I shall aim for this Friday to get things moving again. I wanted to say thanks to my 50 followers though :)
When I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles.
Ugh, this song. It'd just be so damn perfect if the couple had met when the bride was seventeen, y'know? I am jealous of all those people, because damn. I love this song.
