KILL la KILL information post

I decided to compile ALL the KILL la KILL NewType into a single post so people can easily access it. First, the basic details:

-Director: Hiroyuki Imaishi (Dead Leaves, Gurren-Lagann, Panty & Stocking) -Series Composition/Script: Kazuki Nakashima (Gurren-Lagann, Oh! Edo Rocket, Kamen Rider Fourze) -Character Designer: Sushio (One Piece Movie 6, Kittan-Zero) -Animation Production: Trigger (INFERNO COP, Little Witch Academia) -“High-school girls and ruthless sword-fighting action! In an academy ruled by power, a transfer student wielding a sword that looks like half-scissors brings about upheaval.” -The academy is located in a post-apocalyptic setting inspired by the industral revolution of the Meiji Era and the Tower of Babel -The world has special uniforms that match an individual’s talents/skills and give them special powers in accordance to their personalities. The main characters are Ryuuko, the mysterious transfer student, and Satsuki, the Student Council President. Satsuki is trying to rule the Academy with the power of her uniform but Ryuuko resists this control and fights against her. The show will be a character drama centered around both of them and the story will develop through their clashing. Nakashima promises plenty of character development. -Confirmed 2 cour; roughly 24-26 episodes

I'm aware of my bias haha. Let it be known now I fucking love FF X and I'm not a fan of XII and I cant stand FF VII. But, I feel XII battle system is just sloppy. XIII is the perfect example of succesful innovation. But Some people erroneously think FF XII was good simply because it changed the game which is not the case. I would rather they stick to classic if they are going to fail at innovation. Change for the sake of change isn't the right way, Yeah there are nostalgia fags that worship anything classic who wish to stay stagnant, but we also have the other side of the spectrum where people overzealously attempt to be "innovative" in a contrived manner, which breeds similar unsatisfactory results as the former ie: FF XII
