we all know dean laid down with sams body after he died (the first time) but do you think he washed him first.

do you think he carefully undressed, washed, and redressed his baby brother thinking with dull horror about doing this for sam when he was a kid and sick with fever. except now he’s a grown man and his skin is cold and lividity is setting in. his blood is pooling at the lowest points of his body because his heart isn’t beating to move it. his hair is never going to get longer.

the pilot scene where the woman in the white tells sam “you will be” in response to his “i’m not unfaithful” is so fucking insane, because i know for a FACT that stanford sam never would have cheated on jess with anyone. but… he did leave her on that night for dean, and there must have been SOMETHING there for the woman in white to assume that it would lead to sam cheating on jess with his brother.

just think about every time dean or sam have had a relationship and it’s painted like this awful betrayal of the other. lisa’s whole “the minute he walked through that door, i knew, it was over”. the show treats them like they’re married and everyone knows this but it’s been doing this FROM THE BEGINNING. literally from the pilot episode. samdean is so canon it’s painful.
