I really want to address this giant elephant in the room, except its a mule. I stay home a lot, I don’t really like to associate with a lot of people my age or any people really. I believe one of the main reasons for that is because you cannot discuss any topic with most young adults without getting into a heated debate. Whether it’s you telling a funny story and instead of someone listening they are waiting for you to finish to tell you a story almost exactly similar but you know better. Down to discussing actual politics, which lets clear this up.. everyone knows no one our age does this unless you have the same beliefs.
Personally I think that this mainly comes from the left side. I have many Liberal and Democrat friends who I can chose to agree to disagree with. But there are so many people all over social media who just can not wrap their small mind around the fact that people have other opinions, I want to talk about a particular event I watched last night but actually took place in 2016.

The disrespect the crowd showed these speakers was absolutely revolting. The same people who don’t want women to be ashamed of themselves made me ashamed to be young woman in today’s America. I understand Milo came out with a pretty provocative statement stating that feminism is cancerous. Sure that’s using the word cancer as insult, just like calling something “gay” as an insult and may be offensive but you can so simply chose to take a joke and not be offended. He had a poll on his Twitter (before he was banned) asking if you would rather have a child with cancer or a child that is a feminist and not to my surprise the majority chose cancer. He obviously got plenty of hate for that but he also got plenty of people dming him saying they have beaten cancer and still find it humorous. Also, modern feminism is not feminism. They don’t want equal rights they want special treatment. The problem with feminism is that they do not have anything else to protest against, or fight for. Us women have the right to vote, we have good paying jobs if you work hard (like everyone else), we can drive, we can wear whatever we would like. I mean they protest in their bra and underwear..what man gets away with doing that? Slut shaming is a joke, in America we have a little thing called Freedom of Speech so just because someone thinks it’s wrong for you to have sex with every man in your “squad” and post naked pictures of yourself as if you were a paid nude model does not mean they are not aloud to express their feelings towards you. If they weren’t aloud to do that, it would be called Hate Speech but that is also something that does not exist in America due to.. surprise, Freedom of Speech.
Today’s young adults do not know how to chose to not be offended, instead they were taught to pick apart everything someone says, tear it apart and turn it into something it’s not. For example when it was Christina’s turn to speak she was called a white supremacist and racist. That just blew my mind considering who she is, a long known Democrat/Feminist. I mean I don’t know what else to say about that, you can’t even agree with the respected elder who was this free spirit hippy you all aspire to be?
I used to consider myself a democrat/liberal I thought I liked Bernie and Hillary. I voted for Hillary believe it or not. And I will admit I was not very educated on politics and world issues, I just wanted everyone to get a long and be able to do whatever they wanted without anyone stopping them. But when I started to really pay attention to the serious issues in the world and the way the left was handling it I just knew I could not be associated with that. I realized that I agree with a lot of the things the right is doing and I do agree with some things that Democrats believe. It’s okay to believe what you want. Don’t put yourself in a political box because of your age or gender. Get on your smartphones and laptops and look up issues that concern you and watch discussions and debates and decide what you agree with. Stop listening to Facebook, Twitter, these mainstream news channels and do your own research!!

For me, the smell of fall and spring always brings me this sense of nostalgia and an overwhelming feeling in my chest. Ever since I was about 13 I can remember getting this way every time the season changed.
Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it’s not because they enjoy solitude. It’s because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them.
