Smell
Driving in your car to Dallas, your smell so overcoming. I love it even more, you smell so intoxicating.
Could I have a detailed headcanon for Jay Gatsby?
I haven’t read The Great Gatsby since my junior year of high school so hopefully I can remember enough here…
He’s got a very obsessive personality. His obsession with Daisy is one of the main themes of the book. At first, it manifests in his fixation with the green light at the end of Daisy’s dock, and it intensifies once he’s reunited with Daisy through Nick.
Daisy is actually even kind of a special interest to him; he thinks about her all the time and even infodumps about her (to Nick).
He’s got very black-and-white, all-or-nothing thinking. This manifests when he demands that Daisy tell Tom she never loved him. He isn’t willing to settle for Daisy assuring him that she doesn’t love Tom anymore; he wants her to also tell him that she never loved Tom.
Another example of his obsession and “different” way of thinking is in one of his iconic exchanges with Nick (“You can’t repeat the past.” “Why of course you can!”). Gatsby is so obsessed with Daisy that he wants to recreate the life he feels like he missed out on with her; he’s not satisfied to just start off where they are.
Spends a lot of time alone, isolating himself from the rest of the world, probably refilling his social energy after interacting with people at parties and in speakeasies and such. Nick and Daisy are two of the few people he actively seeks one-on-one time with.
Another example of his “different” way of thinking is how he recreates an entire new identity for himself, as Nick later finds out. He doesn’t feel like he can be successful under his old identity; he has to create a new identity and essentially become a new person to put his “poor” past behind him and become a wealthy man.
THERE IT IS AGAIN! THERE IT FUCKING IS! i’VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS PHOTO FOR YEARS AND NEVER COULD FIND IT!! THE LAN PARTY WITH THE GUY DUCT-TAPED TO THE CEILING!! BACK IN ANCIENT TIMES WHEN PEOPLE STILL USED CATHODE MONITORS AND WHEN COUNTERSTRIKE WAS THE NEW THING. THIS SHIT IS REAL. THIS IS REAL SHIT. SHIT THAT HAPPENED.
Heart of flowers
In my experience, love is like if your heart were a vase of flowers. How many flowers have you given away? But more importantly, how many people have given you back flowers?
Ease your soul here
I could watch this all day.

Our lives are constantly hurdling into the future. Before we know it, it’s going to be tomorrow, then a month from now until we all turn to dust. So write cliche poems on the tiles of the girl’s public bathroom and kiss the boy who calls you every night. Fuck the person who gives you shit and stand up for yourself. Love with too much passion and leave notes on diner napkins. Drink coffee until your bones feel jittery and slur out secrets on expensive red wine to strangers. Smile at people with led on their hands and laugh too loudly at your teacher’s jokes. Make puns as often as you can and Google riddles at 3:00 am if you have no one to talk to. Write down old conversations and spray paint an abandoned building with graffiti. Try too hard on school projects and pour your heart out into every language art’s assignment. Chew as many sticks of mint gum as you’d like and have milkshake for dinner once in a while. Eat alone on Friday nights but meet as many people as you can on Sundays. And lastly, open up to everyone you talk to. Life is too short to have regrets of things you should have said.

I'll always re blog once in a while
There’s something about certain smells, and perfect temperatures that can bring me back to instances in my past. A distant memory here, a dream nearly forgotten. Maybe it’s a cologne or perfume; or maybe it’s the way someone’s home smells. I love the reminiscence. It’s so sweet, until you find yourself remembering the things you long to forget.

It’s upsetting that the word “palindrome” isn’t a palindrome.
Ever wonder where everyone is driving to? When i’m driving at odd hours(really late at night or early in morning) i see bunch of cars. I wonder where everyone else is going and what kind of errands they are running
I wonder the same things.
i love you, but you don’t love me
and if i’m going to love someone
it’s going to be me
Yessss
Maybe
Maybe if I finally acknowledge how you ignore all my efforts, I’ll stop liking you.
Maybe if I finally start seeing you for who you truly are and not for who I want you to be, I’ll stop being infatuated with you.
Maybe if I finally admit to myself that you and I can never be, I’ll stop loving you.
But maybe, just maybe, you’ll fall for me too.

chemistry
Our love was an experiment, a poison made in beakers
filled with deadly chemicals and artificial sweeteners.
Emotions bubbled up the test tube, shattering the glass.
How could we have known this was a toxic chemistry class?
We were taught to heat the romance up, but what we never learned
is if you get to close to fire, your fatal mixture will get burned.
