the gang in the sims

starting this little thread to show off the rooms of all the members :P

first up: charlie !!

i wanted to make his room feel as comfy and cozy as possible while also keeping the eccentric qualities of him if that makes sense lol

note some of these little items: little green gnome (ghoul) near his bed bc he loves little green ghouls duh dur, the train on his dresser (for mac), and the bird above the door (my favorite bird lawyer)

next: dennis !!

so for dennis i wanted to keep it as classy and as minimal as possible while also maintaining coziness

little items to note: mirror right by his door because i feel like he would love to look at himself each time he walks in/out of the room, the sun above his bed because hes a golden god duh, notebook on his nightstand to write his 'memoirs'

i wasnt able to get a great screenshot of the bathroom details because the sims camera Sucks

also idk why frank is in there ignore him

next: dee !!

i had so much fun creating her room because i got bored of creating the boys' rooms since they all have a similar color scheme

i was trying to capture the essence of her apartment in the show to the best of my abilities, i thought she would have a kind of boho/chic vibe with bright colors so i hope i did her justice :)

theres no specific items to note really, i added the twilight poster bc i just feel like she would love that movie

next: mac!!

definitely wanted to keep a super masculine vibe but little hints of Gay

more items to note: the swords and sun above the bed (mac and dennis would for sure share a bed and they mark their designated spots), fight club poster bc mac is gay and is def in love w tyler durden, american pyscho poster bc patrick prob reminds him of dennis, the same train from charlie's room on his nightstand bc they used to throw rocks at trains w each other

also couldnt get a great photo of his bathroom

last: mr frank reynolds

i wanted franks room to be the most minimalistic, i know he lives with charlie in the show so it should be trashed but idk the dude is like 80 so he doesnt need a bunch of decor yk

the only item to note really is the lady on the dresser bc his fav pastime is just Looking at women

the house had an extra space so yall KNOW i had to add good ol paddys

i think i captured the vibe pretty well, just like random shit everywhere and the cute little string lights that they have up around the bar (which i feel like wouldve been a charlie and dee idea <3)

i think i did mac and charlie the best but dee i struggled with 💔 any tips on how to tweak it would be greatly appreciated 🙏

one thing i’ve noticed about iasip that i love is that in some recent seasons they end with a more ‘serious’ episode

s11 - the gang goes to hell pt 2 (they all accept the fact that they’re horrible people but they still have love for each other while in the face of death)

s12 - dennis’ double life (dennis literally leaves the gang in order to be with his child) ((but then he comes BACK in s13 because he loves the gang too much even if he doesn’t want to admit it))

s13 - mac finds his pride (self explanatory) ((the focal cameras that they only used for this One episode really is the icing on the cake - AND danny devito showing why he is an impeccable actor))

s15 - the gang carries a corpse up a mountain (charlie’s heartbreaking meltdown) ((charlie day needs to do more drama this performance was genuinely jaw dropping))

s17 - the golden bachelor live (frank realizing that he’s screwed up in life and he wants to change for the better for samantha) ((another example of danny devito being just amazing at what he does)) (((AND the tribute to lynne marie oh my god)))

an honorable mention is kaitlin’s performance in s17 e2 - frank is in a coma when she finds out frank is “dead” the sheer heartbreak and even though she hates the man he is, he still raised her in one way or another and he was the father figure in her life

idk i just thought of this while on my lunch break at work lmk what yall think
