In the midst of World War II, the Army begins their quest to introduce a new concept to history, Airborne Infantry. But, it seems the Army isn't satisfied with just this.

Project Blitz, the introduction of women to the battlefield in a medical capacity. Coincidentally, the Army has decided to implement this project in their new Airborne Infantry. Easy Company will not only have to deal with jumping out of planes into enemy territory, but deal with young Isabella M. Vega who hides a big secret and an amazing musical talent. Will Easy Company be able to learn to look past their beliefs and accept their new medic?

‘Unprecedented’ global effort gives new name to polycystic ovary syndrome – and new hope to millions of women

Decades-long campaign powered by patient perspectives results in switch from PCOS – a name that caused confusion and undue suffering – to PM

a health policy paper has been published saying the name is officially updated to polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS)

polyendocrine= multiple endocrine factors

metabolic = affecting/affected by metabolism

ovarian = from the ovaries

essentially, instead of using the symptomatic term (many people with PMOS do not develop cysts) the new term widens the diagnostic area and makes it easier to diagnose, treat, and do research on people with PMOS (even atypical types, such as no cysts).

it may seem like a waste of time to change a name instead of focusing on research, but for a lot of medical professionals a name can be associated with a hard set collection of symptoms, so the name needs to change to acknowledge that the disorder is not well understood and has a broader, subtler, and often missed set of symptoms. for example ADD is considered an antiquated/unused term, and now comes under the ADHD umbrella. in healthcare names and terminology changes all the time, and this is a positive change. your local healthcare professional may not know about this unless theyre really up on the news though!

Hiiiii everyone sorry i've been mia for forever! My job has gotten INSANE since i last posted and the park/farm (along with the city) is currently going thru a major scandal over some stuff that happened with some swans (i would like to interate it is *not* my farms fault) but it has taken up my entire life due to a bunch of other stuff going on behind the scenes so i have been completely unable to write for easy's songbird since the last update (that and writers block is a BITCH). I appreciate all the wonderful messages u guys send me!!! Please continue to be patient with me as i deal with my job problems. I hope to finally update for easy's songbird soon, but i make no promises.

In the meantime, i'll leave yall with two small questions to keep you entertained!!! Has anyone seen project hail mary??? It's taken over my entire life along with my renewed love for space (long story) thanks to artemis ii. It's so good!!! I can't believe i've been sleeping on ryan gosling for so long, he's an incredible actor. I ended up watching most of his filmography (i ended up in love with him lol not sorry).

Also, is there anything specific you guys would like to see in the next easy's songbird chapter? I'd love to see what ideas and thoughts yall have!!
