Kusanagi trying to keep newly recruited Yata out of trouble

Kusanagi’s immediate thought when Yata joins Homra is that he’s going to need to invest in a child leash (or maybe child leashes, Fushimi could probably use one too). Yata’s always rushing headlong into everything, I imagine him being extra hyperactive and energetic when they first join because he’s literally just out of middle school and his brain is definitely not fully formed yet. Yata’s so focused on becoming useful to Mikoto and showing Homra what he can do that he has a tendency to rush right into things, the first time they take him on a mission imagine him just like running straight into an enemy gang all ready to fight and only Fushimi at his back keeps him from really ending up in a dangerous situation. Kusanagi sighs and doesn’t know why he agreed to let these kids join, he should have known better than this. It’s hard to keep Yata contained though, Totsuka jokes that Kusanagi looks like a tired parent reeling in a toddler every time he has to hold Yata back. Kusanagi says it would be helpful if Yata was a toddler, then Kusanagui could just put a backpack leash on him and keep a better eye on him. Though if he can’t use a physical leash there’s always a metaphorical leash and Kusanagi has a quick talk with Mikoto about how to keep some of Yata’s energy in. The next time they go on some mission and Yata’s ready to run into trouble again Mikoto just steps forward and puts a hand on Yata’s shoulder, muttering ‘cool down.’ Yata’s eyes immediately shine as if he was just given the highest of honors and he stands down, Kusanagi can’t help but think of a chihuahua who was just brought to heel by its master. If this will keep Yata from getting hurt though it’s worth it, at least until they find a way to manage Yata’s energy a little better and he’s finally allowed to go out on his own without the leash.

Big bro munakata au where the munakata family got the call that niki is dying and they have a talk with saruhiko that it's entirely his choice if he wants to go see niki or not.

I like the idea of them giving him a choice, rather than assuming he would want to go. Maybe the Munakata parents do make that assumption, obviously they know that Fushimi wasn’t safe in his previous situation (since they adopted him and all) but this is his father and perhaps he would want to make amends. They’re unsure how to bring this up and that’s how Reisi finds out about it. He’s the one who suggests that Saruhiko may not want to see that person at all – I imagine Munakata would be a little more versed in the issues Fushimi had with Niki, having possibly been front and center for any nightmares and also likely being the one who brought Fushimi home in the first place. Munakata has seen the way Fushimi reacts whenever the idea of Niki coming back for him gets mentioned and even without being told straight out what the issue is Munakata’s been able to connect the dots pretty well. That being the case, he feels like it would not go well if they told Fushimi to go visit Niki, or even insinuated that it was something he might want to do. At the same time hiding it wouldn’t be good either, so the best course of action is to simply ask him what he wants. 

Imagine the Munakatas sitting Fushimi down for a serious talk and when they mention Niki’s name Fushimi tenses, fully expecting that they’re going to like tell him that Niki’s decided to try and get him back or something. When he’s told that Niki is dying he gets a tight expression, like he’s trying not to  let any feelings show, and Munakata’s mom gently says that it’s up to him if he wants to visit his father. They won’t pressure him either way, if he doesn’t want to go that’s fine too, but they felt he should know. Fushimi nods and says he doesn’t want to, not even really taking a moment to think about it, and the Munakatas exchange a concerned look. Reisi puts a hand around Fushimi’s shoulders and says he should make the choice that feels right to him, Fushimi clicks his tongue and says this is his choice, he never wants to see that person again. I imagine once he’s alone Fushimi can’t help but get this wide smile, he didn’t want them to see but he’s actually really thrilled hearing that Niki is finally going to be out of his life and he doesn’t have to worry anymore, that Niki could swoop in at any moment and attempt to remove him from this place. The idea of going to see Niki, to show Niki that Fushimi’s become better than Niki ever let him be, is tempting but ultimately Fushimi would rather just sever that cord entirely – he has a family now that actually wants him and he’s perfectly fine with Niki dying alone in the bed he’s made, without anyone by his side, and Fushimi refuses to feel bad about it.

I think it'd be kind of funny if Saruhiko tanned really easily so when he takes off his scepter 4 coat his hands and face are three shades darker than usual.

Honestly I don’t even think Fushimi tans, he’s absolutely the type who burns XD Part of the reason he’s always wearing layers even in warm weather is because he knows the minute he goes out in the sun he’s going to be red as a lobster. Whenever S4 has an outdoor mission especially in the summer Fushimi is probably slathering on sunscreen, hoping to keep himself from getting too bad of a sunburn this time. Sometimes though he doesn’t have time for it, like there’s a Strain emergency and he has to mobilize with the rest, not having time to grab sunscreen or anything. The Strain is causing problems in some outdoor shopping area with minimal cover too, and due to his presence being needed more immediately on the front lines Fushimi can’t even hide in the vans. He does do his job properly, trying his best to keep in the shade, but imagine at some point he ends up just pursuing the Strain through this big outdoor area. Ultimately the Strain is captured and Fushimi is muttering about the annoyance the whole time, why did he have to be out in the sun like this couldn’t this guy have caused problems on a cloudy day.

The next day he walks into work and everyone notices there’s something strange about Fushimi-san, his face looks somehow darker than usual. Fushimi complains about the lack of air conditioning and the stupid summer heat as he takes his coat off and drapes it over his chair, rolling up his sleeves, and suddenly everyone can see that his face and hands are noticeably darker than the rest of him. Imagine it’s a really obvious contrast too since he’s always so pale, like on his arms there’s a very stark delineation between his sunburned hands and the rest of him and it looks almost like he’s wearing gloves. Maybe he has a day off right after this and that’s even worse, he’s wearing a normal shirt and everyone can see the sunburned V of skin that his usual unbuttoned shirt fails to cover (also say Yata showed up during the Strain fight so Fushimi has this one big noticeable tan mark right around his burn scar). All the S4 guys are trying not to look at it so they don’t get glared at, though Hidaka briefly tries to compliment Fushimi and suggest he get tanned more often, he looks healthier this way. Fushimi gives him a death glare and pulls his hoodie over his head, he’s not going anywhere near the sun until this stupid tan fades away.

Misaru obsession au where fushimi makes the wish

Imagine this shortly post-betrayal, Fushimi is handling a mission to take care of a Strain who has been selling strange items to people and causing chaos. The Strain tries to get Fushimi to let him go and offers him a ‘One Wish Willow,’ which he claims will make Fushimi’s wish come true. Fushimi isn’t even interested in listening to this, he doesn’t believe in wishes and this is just a transparent attempt to escape. The Strain swears it’s true and then maybe something intervenes to allow them to escape, like the Strain had a partner who they were secretly working with. Fushimi is left standing with the willow still in his hand, irritated at being caught off guard. As he’s on his way back to S4 he happens to spot Yata and Homra walking nearby, laughing and talking. Yata looks over at Mikoto and smiles brightly, Fushimi clicks his tongue and scratches hard at his tattoo. He pulls the willow out of his pocket, thinking that he’s not an idiot, why would something like this work. Even so he finds himself breaking it, wishing that Yata would look at no one else but him.

He wakes up the next morning and imagine Fushimi still hasn’t broken the habit from DOB 4, he’s still looking beneath his bunk for Misaki. Except this time Yata is there, fast asleep, and Fushimi almost falls off the bed. He climbs down instead and shakes Yata, demanding to know why Yata’s there. Yata blinks hazily and then as the sleep fades from his eyes he gives Fushimi this bright smile that just takes Fushimi’s breath away. Yata says he had to climb through the window last night but he just had this urge to see Fushimi that he couldn’t wait until morning. In fact it’s weird, Yata hates being in S4 but he just feels like he wants to look at Fushimi all the time. Fushimi remembers the wish he made the previous day and hesitates for just a moment before asking about Homra, Yata’s like who cares about those guys, you’re all I need Saruhiko.

At first this feels like just what Fushimi always wanted, to have Misaki only looking at him, but it quickly becomes something more sinister. Initially it’s maybe just annoying, like Yata wants to come to work with Fushimi and Fushimi tells him to stay in the dorm, then later when Fushimi’s working he sees Yata standing just outside the window staring at him. Akiyama brings Fushimi a coffee and asks if Fushimi wants him to close the blinds, since he keeps looking at the window, and Fushimi tells him yes. Akiyama goes to copy some reports and there’s a sudden commotion, someone hit him from behind with a vase and he’s got a concussion. No one saw anything but when Fushimi returns to his dorm Yata admits to it, still smiling and innocent as he’s like that guy made it so I couldn’t see you, I only want to look at you Saruhiko. Later that night Yata wakes Fushimi up, panicked because he doesn’t know how he got here and he needs to leave and something’s wrong, he doesn’t want a traitor’s help but also he’s freaking out. As Fushimi looks at him this change suddenly comes over Yata’s face though, going from frightened to scarily calm and cheerful as Yata says how happy he is to be able to look at Saruhiko more.

Fushimi is all conflicted now, he got his wish but somehow it leaves a bad taste in his mouth, like what’s even the point of having Yata look at him when it isn’t what Yata wants of his own free will. Fushimi decides to hunt down the Strain and imagine the Strain realizes that Fushimi used the willow, telling him that it may seem scary now but you got your wish, isn’t that a great thing. Ultimately Fushimi captures the Strain and in doing so the wish is broken. The Strain tries one last ditch attempt, there’s one more willow and if Fushimi uses it the person he wants by his side will be his forever. Fushimi goes back to his dorm, which is now totally empty, Yata having run off when the spell broke. Fushimi stands there with the willow in his hand for a long moment and then finally his hand lights up Red and he burns the willow into nothing, muttering ‘idiot’ under his breath.

Saruhiko getting asked to babysit Misaki's younger siblings in big brother munakata au. Maybe yata mama has something to do regarding her ex husband and Misaki needs to be there too, and her husband has work. So Misaki asks Saruhiko to look after his younger siblings for the day, Saruhiko has no idea what he's doing so he gets Reisi to come with him. Reisi likes kids right??? He's a weirdo but he'll be helpful right??

Yata would be so hesitant to have Munakata around watching his siblings, like what if he makes them weird too. Fushimi doesn’t want to watch the kids alone though, he’s probably worried that someone will start crying and he’ll be expected to handle it and that’s just too much for him. Say originally he was going to like sleep over at Yata’s place, Yata’s parents have to go somewhere and Yata figured he and Saruhiko could watch the Yata siblings together. But then it turns out Yata has to go with them too due to some sort of emergency, it’s too late to hire any other babysitter so Yata’s mom hesitantly suggests that Saruhiko could watch them alone. She’s a bit hesitant to just leave him with them though, especially if this is like middle school age and Yata’s mom wasn’t entirely sold on leaving both Yata and Fushimi together alone in the first place. Yata’s mom decides to call the Munakatas and see if they can assist, as it happens the Munakata parents were going to some sports game Taishi was having but oh, Reisi is free and would be happy to accompany Saruhiko. Even Yata’s mom knows that Munakata is a very responsible and trustworthy person so she feels a little better having both Reisi and Saruhiko watching Minoru and Megumi. Yata is more hesitant about it, who knows what kind of things that weird guy will teach his siblings, and he makes Fushimi promise to make Reisi act normal. Fushimi clicks his tongue all do I look like a miracle worker.

Munakata takes this new job very seriously though, imagine they arrive at the Yata family apartment and Munakata has a whole backpack of enriching activities for children. Yata is like are we sure I can’t stay home, Fushimi grumbles that he tried to stop Reisi but you know how this guy is. As soon as Yata and his parents are gone imagine Munakata is all ready to have fun bonding activities but the kids immediately swarm Fushimi instead, they’re both so excited to get to spend time with Saruhiko. Munakata is momentarily deflated but then reminds himself that this is only sensible, after all Saruhiko is incredibly adorable and talented, of course even Yata Misaki’s siblings can see how wonderful his precious little brother is. Fushimi manages to handle keeping the kids busy well enough for a while but then maybe Megumi accidentally injures herself, like she jumps off a table when Fushimi’s back is turned and scrapes her knee. It’s bleeding and she’s crying and Fushimi is at a loss, he’s not even good at handling his own injuries and he’s even less equipped to handle a crying kid. Munakata suddenly swoops right in and scoops her up, telling Fushimi to keep Minoru busy. Munakata takes Megumi into the bathroom and carefully washes her scrape and gives her a cute bandaid, chatting with her all the while, and by the time he comes back to join Fushimi and Minoru imagine she’s just totally happy and hugging him, Reisi is her new favorite. Munakata smiles at Fushimi, who grudgingly mutters a ‘thanks’ and admits that maybe it was good he let Munakata come along, because he knew Munakata could be trusted if a situation came up. By the time Yata and his family return the next day both kids have developed a fondness for ‘weird uncle Reisi,’ who is very pleased to have been granted uncle status. Yata mutters to Fushimi that if Megumi starts wearing shiny glasses it’s all his fault.

I think Saruhiko would thirst a lot for Kamamoto's thighs.

Maybe Fushimi just really does like thick thighs, all the better to rest his head on. Like he complains about Kamamoto taking up all the room in the bed but he also likes just lying down with his arms draped over Kamamoto’s thighs or using Kamamoto’s thighs as a pillow. They’re actually not as soft as he expected, I imagine Kamamoto is probably pretty muscular all things considered, but that just makes it more comfortable somehow. He wouldn’t admit that he’s attracted to them but Kamamoto has definitely figured it out, when asked Fushimi denies it in a way that he only does when he’s too embarrassed to be honest. Kamamoto enjoys knowing that Fushimi likes his thighs too, imagine them lounging around together and Fushimi is just idly stroking Kamamoto’s thighs. Kamamoto grins and says Fushimi really enjoys that, Fushimi denies it but he’s obviously pretty attracted by the sight. I also imagine Fushimi also probably likes that only he gets to really get a good look at Kamamoto’s thighs, since normally in the winter Kamamoto is wearing the heavy sweatpants. In the summer sometimes Kamamoto wears shorts or a swimsuit but his thighs are less interesting then, it’s really in the winter when only Fushimi gets to see them properly and appreciate them.

MS Yata stealing Fushimi’s glasses as a joke, only to realize just how long his eyelashes are since the frames are so thick. Fushimi takes back his glasses, but Yata still wants to see them… platonically of course!

Yata not realizing how pretty Fushimi’s face is until he takes the glasses off (totally pretty in a platonic way mind you, just like from an objective standpoint). Imagine this shortly after they’ve really become friends and maybe Fushimi is sleeping over at Yata’s place for the first time. They’re staying up late with flashlights, happily chatting with each other in low voices and Yata wonders if Fushimi even sleeps with his glasses on. Fushimi clicks his tongue and is like of course not, Yata says he just wondered because he’s never seen Fushimi without glasses. Fushimi doesn’t see why that matters, he looks the same without as he does with (and imagine on Fushimi’s end he’s thinking that of course he knows what he looks like without glasses, just like ‘that man,’ so why would he want to take them off). Yata grins and is like okay let’s see, snatching Fushimi’s glasses off his face. Fushimi calls Yata an idiot as Yata puts the glasses in front of his own eyes, noting that Saruhiko sure is blind, look at how thick these lenses are, and then he glances at Fushimi above the glasses and just pauses.

Fushimi mutters at Yata to give his glasses back and in the low light of the flashlights Yata can see how long Fushimi’s lashes are, Yata suddenly blurting out ‘your eyes look nice’ before he can stop himself. Fushimi looks at him and Yata quickly tries to recover, like he didn’t mean nice, just he looks like less of a nerd now, that’s all. Fushimi tries to take his glasses back and Yata pulls them just out of reach, saying that he just wants to look at them some more but really he keeps staring at Fushimi. Yata finds himself thinking that Saruhiko looks kinda handsome this way, with the glasses Fushimi just looks kinda nerdy and gloomy but aren’t his eyes really striking like this. Yata suddenly realizes that he’s thinking about how handsome his best friend looks and quickly hands Fushimi the glasses back, muttering that he just thought Saruhiko looked…cool, yeah, cool, definitely cool. Fushimi clicks his tongue again and puts his glasses back on as he says he doesn’t need to look cool he needs to see and Yata laughs sheepishly all sorry. A while later imagine they decide to finally go to sleep and Yata has to try really hard not to stare at Fushimi’s sleeping face without the glasses on, telling himself that it’s not like he thinks Saruhiko looks attractive or anything he just looks different, that’s the only reason he can’t look away.

ITS THE BEGINNING OF PRIDE MONTH (…at this time 😅) So how about some love for T4T Sarumi where they help give each other shots and argue about the best ways of binding. Trans sarumi having different mentalities when it comes to touching each other and how far they want to take their surgeries. Trans sarumi taking care of each other depending on what post op. SARUMI 🏳️‍⚧️❤️💜💙🏳️‍⚧️

I always imagine in a T4T situation Fushimi definitely shows Yata how to bind properly, you just know Yata would be wrapping bandages around his torso because he saw it in an anime and figured that’s how you do it. The first time Fushimi sees what Yata’s done he just gives a flat ‘are you stupid?’ and Yata’s like shut up, how else am I supposed to deal with this. Fushimi smirks and lifts up his shirt, showing that he has a proper binder that he researched and bought online (and probably has to hide constantly, for fear of what Niki would do if he found it). Yata didn’t even realize that binders were a thing, in general I could see Yata having this whole ‘everyone thinks I’m a girl but really I’m a boy and that’s weird, right’ sentiment, like I don’t know if Yata would even be aware of what a trans person is, much less that he is one, until he meets Fushimi who feels the same way. Fushimi knows how to work a google search so he’s well aware of this, his issues are more the self loathing and being mocked by his abusive dad or ignored by his mom (or just in general refuted, like Yata’s mom thinks this is a phase but if her kid wants her to call him ‘son’ she’ll do it, while Kisa just gives Fushimi a disapproving look and wonders why ‘she’ is dressed as a boy again) but he is aware that even if this is rare it isn’t something that only he’s ever felt. Having Yata there though does help him, because even with the academic knowledge of trans people it’s still hard not to feel like an outlier or an anomaly until he meets a person who feels the exact same way he does.

Maybe they start getting hormone shots in Homra, Kusanagi knows a guy who is willing to work with them on payments and won’t ask for parental approval as long as Kusanagi vouches for them. Yata’s really excited about it until he realizes that they have to take shots and that’s how Fushimi discovers that Yata doesn’t like needles. Fushimi is well versed in all manner of sharp things so he’s more than happy to administer the shots for both of them, imagine Fushimi smirking and chasing Yata down with a needle while Yata insists that he isn’t afraid of needles he just doesn’t like them much. And then imagine during the betrayal years Yata has to learn to do it himself, but then after they make up he asks Fushimi to do it for him anyway. Fushimi mutters that he thought Yata would have gotten better at handling shots in the last couple years but Yata just smiles and says well yeah, but he’d rather Saruhiko do it. 

Discussion of surgery could be interesting, Fushimi would probably have more ease of access than Yata (especially since he’s the one with the well paying job) but I could also see him being less interested in getting surgery because it sounds like a pain. Yata meanwhile can’t really afford it but wants it, I feel like Fushimi’s attitude towards gender would be a lot more fluid than Yata’s and Yata can’t really feel like a ‘proper’ man while his body doesn’t match. Imagine Fushimi hesitantly offering to pay and Yata just immediately hugs him because Saruhiko is the best, Fushimi’s cheeks get bright red and he clicks his tongue to cover for how happy he actually is. And then imagine afterward they maybe have to navigate the physical side of their relationship, because Yata I could see just assuming that they’re gonna do things the vanilla way, since he’s had bottom surgery and Fushimi hasn’t, and then realizing belatedly that now he’s the one treating Fushimi ‘like a girl’ and feeling bad about it. Fushimi is pretty much okay with whatever lets him touch Yata and doesn’t require him to work too hard so they end up experimenting a lot at first, Fushimi definitely makes Yata blush and stutter by making a comment about how he paid for Yata’s bottom surgery so of course he should get to enjoy it.

BBM au where the munakata’s lowkey spy on Sarumi on their first ‘date’ Misaki has formerly asked Saruhiko to hang out with him on a weekend. Everyone is playing it cool but notice a grown couple with two kids seem to be following them and now they’re concerned, but they can’t give their position away. Long story short, turns out the weirdos are the Yata family spying on their boy as well! :D

Okay but is it ‘the Munakatas’ spying on the kids or really just one Munakata, a particularly attached big brother XD Maybe Munakata convinces Taishi at least to accompany him, his parents think it’s so sweet that Saruhiko is going out with his little friend but Munakata is concerned about parental supervision and them being mugged and all kinds of things, who knows what could happen to two children alone. Taishi thinks Reisi is being a little too overprotective but he’s a good big brother so if it will make Reisi feel better to stalk their youngest brother on ‘it’s not a date, we’re just going to the arcade and the movies and getting food’ with his best friend then so be it. Munakata is well versed in stealth (he’s watched a lot of ninja shows) so he leads the way, imagine Taishi just calmly walking behind him in normal street clothes while Munakata is head to toe in black and darting from shadow to shadow as he trails Fushimi and Yata. A couple times Fushimi suspiciously glances back and Munakata will dive into an alley or hide behind a decorative plant, Taishi thinks it’s kinda cute how focused Reisi is.

At some point Munakata realizes that they aren’t the only ones tailing Fushimi and Yata, that woman with the two children has been watching them as well. Munakata probably already has visions of thwarting a kidnapping but Taishi just walks over to them and introduces himself, which is how they learn that Yata’s mom decided to keep an eye on her son and his friend from afar and of course the Yata siblings had to come as well. Minoru thinks Munakata’s ninja outfit is kinda neat and immediately wins him over. As Reisi is explaining his own relationship with Fushimi to Yata’s mom Megumi starts fussing and Taishi takes her, Yata’s mom is impressed at how good he is with kids. Taishi notices that Megumi keeps looking over his shoulder and realizes that Yata and Fushimi are getting away from them. He glances at Reisi and Yata’s mom, who are still chatting, and then smiles and makes a ‘shh’ gesture to Megumi, why don’t we let them have some privacy after all.

Reisarumi where Yata and Munakata kind of compete with each other whenever they are all intimate, each having an advantage on different stuff. But say as time goes on MunaYata kind of get an unspoken alliance where they work together to overwhelm Fushimi and kind of teach each other tricks to unravel him further :3 maybe they even bond enough to touch each other :3 but making sure Fushimi doesn’t get too far in his jealously well maybe just a little bit, but it’s so they can spoil him later :3

Imagine this where Munakata and Yata have initially sort of reluctantly agreed to this poly thing because they both love Fushimi and of course at first they’re both trying to compete with each other both for Fushimi’s affections as well as each other’s, in a sense. Like Yata is still a total virgin but he wants to make the Blue King beg to be touched by him, while Munakata is less vocal about his intentions but he also definitely wants to make Yata squirm. Fushimi rolls his eyes when they start arguing like this but imagine him getting a little jealous or fussy if they’re focusing too much in each other, all I’m here too you idiots. 

Yata will claim it’s not like he’s interested in the Blue King, he’s just here for Saruhiko, but also he can’t lose to Munakata either. Munakata notes that perhaps rather than competing they should forge an alliance, Yata is hesitant but then Munakata starts discussing quietly with him ways to make Fushimi feel good and okay, maybe this guy has some decent ideas. They’re still low-key competing a little but it’s more on the ‘who can make Saruhiko come undone the fastest’ level and after a while it stops even being proper competition and more like collaboration. Fushimi probably doesn’t know if this is better or worse than when they were competing, he’s trying to keep his composure but it’s totally impossible with both Munakata and Yata touching him in tandem. This also has the side effect of cooling the animosity between Yata and Munakata as well, with them finally realizing that well maybe they do have some things in common (wanting to see Fushimi moan) and maybe they really can work together, and the entire relationship becomes more of a proper threesome as a result.

School au (i can never spell guekan(???) right) and everyone is playing the king’s game with Misaki between Muna and Saruhiko. The king demands number # (Misaki) to kiss the person on their right. This feels like the triple combo hit of mortification honestly, poor Yata XD Imagine at some point the student council and Homra (and probably the Silver club too while they’re at it) decide as a way of getting along they’ll have like an overnight sleepover at the school and play school games and such. This was decided by Munakata as student council president, he wishes to promote peace and harmony between the students by reminding them of halcyon days of their youth that they can someday look back on. Principal Ichigen found the request to be charming and agreed to allow the students to have their sleepover provided they don’t destroy any school property, Munakata vowed that he would help keep the peace on the honor of his position. Everyone gets dragged into coming to the sleepover — Fushmi complained the whole time and was told as a member of the student council and morals officer his presence was in fact required — and they probably spend a lot of the time after showing up playing very placid games, Munakata can’t allow anything too scandalous of course.

Munakata is talked into allowing the King game though, it sounds like a very amusing game. Mikoto decides to play too, grinning at Munakata as he says he can’t wait to order Munakata to stuff a sock in his mouth, Munakata pushes up his glasses and says he looks forward to ordering Mikoto to become an honor student for a day. Yata has to back up Mikoto of course and he spots Fushimi trying to sneak off so Yata yells at him happily to come play with them. Fushimi glares at him and then Munakata appears at Yata’s shoulder, spooking Yata who immediately jumps back as Munakata sparkles and holds out a hand to Fushimi. And that’s how Yata ends up sitting uncomfortably between them, Saruhiko sulking on one side of him and Munakata sitting perfectly still and sparkling on the other, while Yata stares longingly at Mikoto sitting across from him  and yawning. For most of the first part of the game it’s just Munakata and Mikoto winning by turns and ordering each other to do things but then at some point the Silvers join up and Shiro finally wins. He’s not too experienced in this King game thing but he’s heard you’re supposed to suggest heart pounding things, so he grins and says number 6 should kiss the person to their right.

Yata’s face gets red as he’s like glad that isn’t me but then he realizes everyone is staring at him and he does a quick count. Fushimi snickers and Yata gets even redder, what do you mean I have to kiss Saruhiko why is Saruhiko acting like this doesn’t involve him. Everyone is looking at Yata expectantly and he’s all stuttering like yeah, kiss, right, I can do that. Fushimi is looking at him and Yata just stares back, licking his lips nervously as he’s like then…I guess I’ll just…and finally he just grabs Fushimi and starts kissing him. Fushimi makes a surprised noise and Yata ignores it, he can’t even open his eyes he’s so embarrassed but also this feels kinda…good…like he’s not against kissing Saruhiko, Saruhiko’s lips are all soft and he’s just sitting there as Yata kisses him and maybe Yata’s had a couple fantasies that went like this if he’s being honest. He finally pulls away, vaguely aware that was way too long a kiss for just the King game, laughing nervously and sheepishly asking if it was okay. Fushimi is staring at him blankly, mouth partially open, and then someone gives a small cough and is like ‘Yata-kun… Fushimi-kun is on your left.’ Horror sets in as Yata slowly turns to his right, where Munakata is staring at him with an inscrutable smile and shining glasses, and Yata wonders if he could just have the floor swallow him up right now that would be great thanks.

BBM post rok he is very happy Sarumi made up… so happy. In fact! He will personally walk Misaki to Saruhiko’s room and hang out. And windows are too dangerous to climb so maybe he should start putting up electric bars around! Interesting how everytime the doors locked and muna uses the key to get in saruhiko happens to have some kind of predicament that requires Misaki to be awfully close to him, best keep that door open since it seems to help! He’s not being overprotective or anything, it’s simply a big brother’s duty to be sure that his younger brother is happy and safe :D Once Yata and Fushimi make up maybe Yata had hoped that Saruhiko’s weird brother had mellowed as well, like surely that guy can’t still dislike me it’s been years and Saruhiko eventually joined S4 rather than staying in Homra so Munakata should be over that one small issue. His hopes are dashed immediately when he shows up at S4 one day to hang out with Fushimi only to find Munakata waiting at the door for him, he’d heard Yata Misaki was stopping by the building. As long as Munakata is here perhaps he should walk Yata to Fushimi’s dorm room, and as long as he’s at Fushimi’s dorm perhaps he should stay and join them in their bonding experience. Fushimi clicks his tongue and says doesn’t Munakata have work to do, Munakata smiles calmly and says surely Awashima can handle anything that comes up. Fushimi eventually has to practically shove Munakata out the door and Yata breathes a sigh of relief, what’s up with that guy, and then Fushimi stands up and mutters that he’d better block the cameras too, Reisi is probably just going to go watch them through those. Yata’s like how did your brother get even creepier and Fushimi shrugs, he’s used to this.

Yata decides the only way he’s going to be able to hang out with Saruhiko without being watched is to sneak in, he manages to get through the window a couple times before Munakata figures it out and cuts down the tree outside of Fushimi’s room because clearly that is a safety hazard, it could fall in a storm, very bad. Yata tries to set up meetings in other rooms because Munakata won’t expect that but he forgot about the cameras and suddenly he’s finding every door in the building has a broken lock and is easily thrown open. Imagine at this point too it isn’t just that they’ve made up but Yata’s been trying to confess to Fushimi for weeks, it’s just every time he gets close to it Munakata finds some way to separate them, like he’s not even in the room and somehow knows Yata is there and sends Fushimi emergency orders because oh dear a Strain we need you immediately Saruhiko. Luckily for Yata Fushimi is also trying to keep away from Munakata and get some alone time with Misaki and Fushimi has years of experience in dodging this particular obstacle, though Yata does almost have a heart attack when Fushimi climbs in his window (‘My apartment is on the roof!’ *shrug* ‘Grappling hook’).

I can’t see Sarumi having more than one kid if they have any at all BUT the idea of an omegaverse where Misaki keeps accidentally knocking up Saruhiko is funny as all hell. Poor saru taking birth controls, getting iud’s, tying his tubes but “miracle” babies just keep happening. Misaki would be happier if the looming threat of knives weren’t constantly on him.

Fushimi is just incredibly fertile, he can’t help it XD I imagine he would be so annoyed about this too, Yata has to start begging just to touch him because I swear it won’t happen this time, the last time had to be some sort of weird coincidence. Realistically I think Fushimi would probably just have an abortion the first time if he doesn’t feel ready for a kid but eventually I kinda imagine him deciding that well, Misaki always looks so excited by the idea and maybe just one won’t be too bad. This unfortunately leads to them like having a whole litter because no matter how hard Fushimi tries to swerve it he keeps ending up pregnant and Yata has to swear that he didn’t do anything with Fushimi’s birth control pills and he wore protection and everything, this is just an unexpected miracle. Even the doctors are puzzled, by all rights Fushimi shouldn’t be getting pregnant at this point with everything he’s done to avoid it, but even so it keeps happening. Fushimi is getting pretty grumpy about it because he’s really tired of being pregnant and they have more than enough kids at this point, and Yata is starting to get worried that he’s never going to be allowed to touch Fushimi again even though it’s not his fault that apparently Fushimi is the world’s most fertile omega.

I imagine they would probably have some kinks, it just takes a while to figure out what those are since they’re a pair of awkward virgins XD Like can you imagine Yata the first time he realizes that he has a kink, like maybe he and Fushimi have just started sleeping together and while hanging out with the Homra guys Yata sees some porn against his will.
