#ruby rose #weiss schnee #whiterose #cheese AU #rwby #here's the general idea and some if you haven't read the fic written by taco yet!#so basically ruby's family is all dead/gone and she's like in shambles trying to keep everything afloat but everything is a shitfest #shes broke and legit has nothing left to lose so she spends the last of her savings to travel to mistral to get some form of closure #and some time upon reaching she gets attacked by a gang member. gets saved by pretty woman via murder #she has 10k issues. murder is fine she guesses.#cheese ruby forms attachments deeply and quickly even more than a ruby usually does due to constantly losing people she loves #she is distinctly aware that the pretty woman is maybe dangerous and she probably should leave but she also like just saved her #and if the woman ended up killing her she'd be at peace with it. she wouldn't be alone.#and then she follows weiss into her shop. gets fed her first meal in a while (she's starving and she might've cried a little)#she's given a place to stay over the night (the couch was the nicest thing she'd slept on); given a job (she's less broke now???)#and consequently the sense of safety; belonging. the immense relief that this one person in her life won't be leaving her #ruby knows she can get too clingy; has separation anxiety; gets unreasonably jealous sometimes; and way too possessive. she's self-aware ok #somewhat.#and weiss doesn't really seem to find all of that repulsive (just like how weirdly she's okay with weiss committing atrocities)#eventually they date. eventually weiss proposes to her. and now life is great and there's a place she can finally and confidently call home #anyways hi if you made it through the yapfest lmao
