RWBY Poly Week: Interest Check!!
Hello RWBY fans!
I am doing an interest check for a RWBY Poly Week.
Basically, it is going to be a week dedicated to poly ships in the FNDM. Any poly ship, as long as it is not problematic, will be allowed. In fact, I am HIGHLY encouraging rarepairs for this week!! Oh, and to add on; any content, such as fanfics, artworks, AMVs, edits, and more will be welcome as long as they are safe for work.
I am taking responses regarding interest, prompts, and when RWBY Poly Week should take place. The form will be closing July 25th at 11:59 PM EST.

Hey y'all, I absolutely hate to ask for this at all. I've got some serious much-needed dental work I absolutely cannot afford, got rejected on financial assistance, etc. My commissions are open, taking donations if possible, preferrably writing but if you want art, the best I can do is like. Stick figures. And not very good ones. But I'm definitely good at writing, I think.
Anyway, please consider helping me out. I will mainly write for RWBY (most ships) or Life is Strange (Pricefield, Amberprice) these days but if you know my previous fandoms, or if you think I might write for something, just ask. I absolutely and truly appreciate it.

after thinking about this more the idea hit me of both of them suffering from 'wont just talk to each other disease' Penny dealing with Ruby which fuels Weiss' she doesn't love me and Bees or Jaune with Weiss fueling Ruby's because they're just that extra

WhiteRose's first real fight as a couple happening because Ruby asked Weiss to kill her if she ever gets turned into a Hound, and Weiss refused
But also, a significantly less serious take on the same concept: Ruby giving a powerpoint presentation on why Weiss should be the one to kill a hypothetical Hound!Ruby. one slide talks about how Weiss might get Ruby as a Summon afterwards so Ruby wouldn't really be gone. another slide just says "doomed yuri potential" in all-lowercase comic sans

From what I've seen of RWBY it was so OBVIOUS that Yang and Blake were the plan the whole time. Like what do y'all mean it was forced? This is a slow burn masterpiece.
Just say that you don't like when girls are gay and move along. Just say you didn't want your favorite female characters to be sapphic. Just be honest. You don't have to come up with elaborate and far fetched reasoning as to why they shouldn't have been a romantic pairing.
At the risk of well I don't care so here goes. RWBY is a show that is unlike many others. We've all heard, or read about how studio execs, and what not all mandate many shows to hit you over the head with with what just happened, repeating things, and not trusting you to pick up any subtext
RWBY is different. It has tons of subversions all over the place
Imagine you watch mostly just whatever and one day you watch this show. You see Sun tell her she looks better without the bow, she goes to the dance with him, and she blushes when he flirts with her. That's as @vigilantsycamore said the decoy. And your mind locks onto it, that yeah that's probably what's going to happen. And sure maybe you clock there might be something going on with Yang and Blake, but the Sun thing is way more obvious, so you go with that. Then Sun follows her, talks to her, and they even have the trope of 'meet the parents' and Kali's 'I like him'. They hit all the 1-2-3's of a relationship arc for most shows. I do not blame people for thinking Blacksun, or something else might have been what they were going for...at least until V6. Idk what to tell you by that point, but I think it's disingenuous to pretend it's somehow offensive or shocking that people, especially in today's everything is surface level shows that it's somehow wrong, or that people 'hate gays' because they just passively watched the show, and didn't pick up on Bees. Seriously it's not all an attack on someone. Sometimes people just miss things, or draw wrong conclusions. For example some people still don't realize (D)WR is gonna be end game! And of course in fanfic go off, and write whatever you want. That's the joy of fanfic. TLDR- RWBY subverts expectations so if it's the first show of its kind you watch then yeah you might not see bees coming early volume. Especially if you live in a country where that sorta thing is common or happens all the time (2 'friends' that are never made 'official' despite how obvious it should be ala 'bandai and witch from mercury which people mostly ignore etc)

1. I used to like country music. It was the only thing my parents listened to besides Jesus music, so I liked it until I developed an independent taste in music.

1. Sometimes my right ankle just decides to spontaneously bend inwards. It doesn't hurt or anything, it's not related to any injuries as far as I know, and it's never caused any serious problems for me, but roughly 3ish times a year that joint just goes "welp, sideways time". This has been happening since before I was 10 and I don't know why
