the two top images are my sketch and color work for a bit of enWorld freelance. The big third image is Grok doing the color on the sketch. I took a three hours, Grok took 30 seconds.

Keeping Grok busy.Don't want it to get rusty. I demanded a second version of my twiggy Batman doodle. Winner on the top.
"re render it with subtle changes that indicate it's a alternate unviverse Batman"
Fans of resin kits may recognize that Bat Girl. The Kirby render copy exercise on the bottom produced the interesting semi nudes. Skin Tight comic book costumes give artists license to invent nude figures. It's easier. All the AI is Grok.
My kick in feeding GRok my doodle art is the happy accidents. The roughest stuff is best.
2016 to 2017. Inktobers and other. Given to Grok to glorify
Top is GROK giving a Batman doodle an awesome render.
Second is from my little flash fiction book , Free Cat ; and 30 other odd tales
AI being able to easily produce clean BW Kirby art is great even if turning it into a painting afterward doesn't float your boat.
Doodles detoured through Grok after the Thursday Podcast with Me, Scott Sackett and guest Dan Johnson.

More Tumblr Archive given Grok meth. Especially impressive is the, loose to the point of confusion, sketch that it was able to turn into the render of winged machine gun firing woman.
done during a podcast some time back before I was AI crazy
I invited Scott Sackett, my Thursday Podcast co-host, over to the house for his first oil painting lesson. It wasn't much. He wanted to do the Frazetta , Warrior w Ball and Chain as our subject.
I had prepped two small-8by10- canvas boards with a yellow ochre outline of the composition. We started with the burnt umber stain process and Scott made a newbie error of putting the umber on too thick. By the time it was dissolved off with multiple turp washings the ink outline was gone.
So we traded canvas boards because I didn't want him focusing on copy fidelity. So I did the wonky copying. It's got so much wrong with it why not give to Grok with the prompt to stick close but enhance. That's the middle one.
Then I tried for a slight adjustment to improve the chest anatomy and it jumped into The Barbarian Brothers with the third painting. If Grok doesn't get it the first time it would be easier to take it into photoshop and DIY.
I posted a link to my "Embracing AI at 72" video that discusses why someone that can never be Frazetta would like Grok and Gemini so much.
GROK travels to the 2018 archive. The 2nd one down is maybe a drawing of Rita Seehorn from Better Call Saul. The Grok version reinforces the likeness but not the coloration.
The GROK results are great bur they veer a bit too far from the sketches. Especially the one of Styx. So I cropped him and had ut concentrate on just his face with the extra prompt that he had one front tooth
The archive gets another Grok work out.
Fresh doodles! Given Grokking.
I watched the Criterion disc of SLACKER with Linklater's commentary. Sketched a couple of the characters and asked both Grok and Gemmini for painted results. Meh. The cool thing Gemini managed to do ( since it lost at rendering sketch impressions), it "enhanced" the barely visible handwriting under the security sticker the library affixed to the chapter list.
Only one Gemini render. Red Sonja. All the rest are Grok.
