No, your oc isn't too cringe or a Mary sue. Yes, it's completely fine that it looks similar to your other ocs. Yes it's completely fine that it looks similar to a Canon character design. No it's not uncreative. No the design isn't shitty. No the backstory doesn't have to make perfect sense or be all figured out. Yes it can be self indulgent or unrealistic or overly sappy. No you don't draw your favorite character too much. Yes you can flip flop between developing whatever characters you want. No you don't have to keep the parts of your character that you don't like or that make you uncomfortable just for the sake of consistency, realism or whatever else
At the end of the day our favorite ships donât exists in real life and canât do anything that Mashima donât write. Itâs okay to not agree with every ship but pretending that Gray wouldnât be with Juvia if he wasnât forced is silly. They are characters written by an author who controls their destiny at the end of the day! That is all!

He sat in the large throne that once belonged to Jiemma, it was much too big for him and he worried. He looked at his guild mates, his friends. Many members had left after they learned that Sting wanted Sabertooth to change and most of the members who remained had very little faith.
He began to speak.

That is the Sabertooth way.â His voice came out clearly and with power, âFrom now on not only will this guild remain powerful, we will grow more powerful with allies and friendships. If you canât accept the changes that will be happening to this guild I recommend you leave now.â His eyes scanned the room, no one turned to the exit, âYou may all continue with your days.â
After everyone left Rogue approached Sting with the exceeds. Sting let out a long sigh and shook his head.
âI donât know if Iâll be able to do this, man. So many people have already left. Itâs gonna be a massive change and I donât think people will like it.â

I saw someone post about their head cannon that Sting is autistic and I would like to add onto that by saying he always wears gloves so he doesnât get overstimulated.

I have a head cannon that Sting is lactose intolerant but still drinks milk and eats butter and cheese because theyâre white and he causes himself so much pain but still does it cuz âyoloâ. This head cannon came to me because Iâm pretty sure Michael Jones (Stingâs English VA) is lactose intolerant.
