when riverdale dedicated a whole episode to gay women (witches) and their abuse at the hands of the patriarchy across multiple generations and it was about to end with them killing their husbands as riverside by agnes obel was playing AND THEN sabrina the teenage witch walked in and said HER AND CHERYL'S COVENS ARE IN THE SAME SOFTBALL LEAGUE and then they gave the witches a happy ending in lesbian heaven THAT was the exact moment when television peaked. know that.

i watched the Zoinks the Wonderdog episode of Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue, here’s my thoughts:

- i liked it tbh it was weird but interesting i give this series credit for trying something different. i love the idea of Shaggy having a dog before Scooby and Scooby having an owner before Shaggy. thought they were really good origin stories for this universe.

- i was kinda annoyed at how Shaggy seemed oblivious to the robot Zoinks destroying stuff and making Scooby look like the villain. he was doing it RIGHT in front of Shaggy, literally Shaggy could see the laser beams coming from his eyes hitting Robi in the back and yet he still thought Zoinks was being good. that was so stupid.

- i LOVE that Dr. Phineus Phibes is named after Dr. Phibes who Vincent Price played in the movie “The Abominable Dr. Phibes.” it’s always really sweet seeing Vincent’s long lasting impact on Scooby, even on series’s that aren’t related to the Scooby show he was in. it’s a very cool tribute to him.

- speaking of Phibes, i love that he said that Shaggy and Scooby are invincible when together cause that’s so true. Shaggy and Scooby taking selfies together at the end of the episode was so CUTE i love their friendship!! it will never fail to make me smile!!

- really liked how robot Zoinks and Groovy Don looked when they melted, thought it was kinda spooky and cool

- also i like the theme song. it’s not very good but it’s catchy and i find it funny. the artstyle is really cute

i probably wouldn’t care as much about the concept of Asamad’s redemption arc if Vincent wasn’t a kind and forgiving person and if Asamad wasn’t related to Vincent and didn’t watch over him to protect him tbh. like that’s why imo it works cause if Vincent was unforgiving then i wouldn’t be able to see him making amends with Asamad, i feel like Vincent being such a forgiving person is a necessary part of Asamad’s redemption arc along with Asamad watching over Vincent and protecting him (which is doing the work to become better, to right his wrongs and help those he hurt), without those factors it just wouldn’t work. that’s why i love Vincent so much because he’s willing to give people a second chance if they are truly remorseful, he’s still good even though he’s been faced the most evil ghosts and has most likely been tempted to join the darkside. his incorruptible soul is what changes Asamad’s heart, which is so special because he spent his whole life fearing he would become evil like Asamad, haunted by the fact that they share blood, then he ends up remaining good and his influence causes Asamad to join his side instead. and i think them being related is necessary cause that’s the familial connection, because why would Asamad be changed by Vincent if they had no familial ties? i think it’s really sweet and makes for a lot of tender moments between them. whenever i think about it my heart goes❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙💙💜💜💜💚💚💚🥺🥺🥺🫶🫶🫶🫶🥹🥹🥹

Do you remember the episode of Spongebob where he's training gary for the snail race and does a coach persona + calls gary a girl and has an aside where he's like "I called you a lady to demean you 🤓" and right after he says that it cuts to sandy and she somehow telepathically feels that Spongebob just did something misogynistic and us like I feel like I need to kick Spongebobs ass for some reason. And then she appears just at the end of the episode to kick his ass.

the Asamad has a nightmare where he’s in Hell and is about to get thrown into the flames when Vincent shows up and sacrifices himself for him oneshot that i was talking about :) my longest oneshot/chapter ever, it’s 3161 words!
