Find you an npc that gets jealous when there's new information about you, but he's not the first person you told.

This reminds me of Ruan Lanzhu's dialogue in ep 36 "I have all the data about you, whatever you ask, I can quickly find the answer", if we shortly ignore the angst of the confrontation—just imagine that line in normal circumstances.

I bet on my soul he takes pride in knowing every little facts about Jiushi (even if it's technically just his code). That's why every time someone learns new information about Jiushi before he does, he gets really jealous and sulky...which is funny to think about.

But going back to the angst—I could also see Lanzhu being sad that he was robbed of getting to know Jiushi little by little. He would've preferred if all of that information and facts came from Jiushi himself.

Just watched The Martian—I feel bad for being so late, but I was a child when it came out and Disney Princesses were my preference at that time lol.

Anyways, it's amaaaaazing. I was expecting death to be honest, but I'll always take a happy ending. After watching the movie, I'm really looking forward to reading it, hopefully after I finish with PHM.

Also, it's fun that both movies remind me of how much power there is in "knowledge". Who needs superpowers when you have science to figure shit out. :')

Also also–I wonder if Watney and Grace could be friends? Because I think they'll have good banters.

Just finished Project Hail Mary and I can't help but think about Jiushi and Grace's similarities (random ik *and spoilers?). Both have no loved ones present in their life—which I believe is why they value companionship and bond more than anything.

Similarly, they both had the option to start a new life, live and move on. But no, they chose to come back for the non-human (an NPC and an Alien) who was willing to sacrifice their own lives for them.

The other had no people to live for, while the other had no people to be brave for. But when they met their "reason", they're willing to do anything.

Jiushi was willing to spend 50 years of his life to recreate a game so he can be with Ruan Lanzhu again. While Grace chose to save Rocky despite giving up his chance to come back to earth.

One of my favourite moments of The Spirealm lol, I just love how opportunistic Ruan Lanzhu is from the get go.

They slept inches apart—with their pillows positioned symmetrically on the middle of the bed.

But when they woke up, Lanzhu's pillows were aaaaaall the way on Jiushi's side. No cuddles but close enoughshs.

Very random Spirealm question. In the end Jiushi switched/returned to his younger version, but do we know why it was the same fit he wore in Sister's drum? His hairstyle is different of course, but I wonder if there's more to it or they just chose that one because he looks good lol.
