Glad some people are preparing for the zombie apocalypse!!!!
Ahhhh yes! The beautiful Midwest!! Where you can buy a missile can at your local Dickey Bub’s!
You know you live in the Midwest, when after a couple of days of one digit and negative digit weather, you could go outside in shorts and a short sleeve shirt in 30 degree weather. It feels like summer.
You know you live in the Midwest, when you don’t pay any mind to the tornado sirens because it’s Wednesday at noon.
You know you live in the Midwest, when it is snowing and/or hailing, the sun is out, sky is clear and a rainbow is hanging out too.
You know you live in the Midwest, when it was 70 degrees yesterday and today it’s -10 degrees.
You know you live in the Midwest, when you just drive around because there’s nothing better to do or till you think of something to do.
You know you live in the Midwest, when you say, “It wouldn’t be that bad if it wasn’t for the wind.”
You know you live in the Midwest, when you can tell if a storm is coming just by the scent.
You know you live in the country, when you hear random gunshots between 3-10pm and a stray shot or two between 11pm-2pm.
You know you live in the country, when you can tell the difference between fireworks and gunshots.
You know you live in the country, when your dog brings home random deer legs and you can never find where it came from.
You know you live in the Country, when bonfires with deer meat and whiskey are regular occurrence.
You know you live out in the country, when you hear something and you hope it’s just a car coming down the road to turn around and not something else like last time.
i know it’s a goose but we’re gonna pretend it’s a duck.
Was getting ready to cross the Missouri river and I said hold your breath to my nephew. He was stupid enough to ask why. We live in the Midwest if you don't try and hold your breath across the Mississippi River and other big rivers like the Missouri River that is disrespect to the River gods. The Rivers givth and they can takth away.
