We’re back on January 12th!

Man, I’m really sorry about this mega prolongued hiatus. I truly am. The holidays are finally over so my hours are going to possibly go back to normal soon. Either way, Chapter 1 has been drawn, I just gotta scan it. 

In other news, we are posisbly seeing another one week hiatus the week of February 8th as I am getting a tooth removed. I am in terrible pain at the moment from this tooth, but please bear with me when I will have a hard time getting over anesthetics and stuff like that. For the time being, I can manage these updates just fine, and hopefully will be able to queue some pages.

The first week it’ll be one page updates, but afterwards it’ll be a page every three days. This averages to 2.5 pages a week. I am hoping to be able to do four eventually, but this is what we have so far for chapter 1.

And other news! 

Chapter 2 will be drawn digitally and in color as will the rest of the comic. If you don’t know what my digital art looks like, the Extras page has some examples.

And to wrap it all up, Happy New Year and I hope 2017 is your year!

Well its been a month, so here’s where I am:

I am behind schedule and a current work situation has me a little more behind. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Official Hiatus

Yes, really Tip. Welcome to Oz is on hiatus as of today, Sunday October 30th, 2016

As of today, I only have two pages available for inking which is less than I usually have and I know I won’t have much time to ink them the way I want them to look and I am not pleased with how the last two pages came out. I will go on Hiatus for about a month, possibly a little less so expect my return sometime around November 20th - 30th, 2016. 

The reasons for this are I am 19 years old and am currently the only employed member of my household. My work schedule is crazy due to the season and I’m sorry I did not prepare better for this. And my social life is getting a bit hectic.

There’s also the fact that I have overall not been completely satisfied with the aesthetic of the comic, specially regarding it’s blue and yellow tints. I have recently found a quick way for me to do the pages and by December, we should have a much more polished look.

And if You have been with me since the original Launch of Welcome to Oz back in July 2015, you might fear this is another year hiatus. It is not. I am not extending it for more than a month. In a month, I will give a report on where I am. 

My goal is to draw enough pages to have two update days of the week for at least three months and see where we go from there. I don’t know what days these could be as of yet, but I will have a better idea in a month.

Some news! This page is late cause I currently have jury duty, which means I’m in a court room during most of the daytime hours. Secondly, I am officially employed which you know what that means, slower page rates. I’m sorry about that, this is my only week off as far as I know and like I said, I have jury duty which is going to suck up my time until I actually start my training. I may start doing outlined pages just for simplicity’s sake and finish them at a later date. Figuring it out. Anyway readers, thank you and keep being fantastic!
