What's to Come

When it comes to looking ahead it's something I do quite often. The problem is, it's never the near future. My thoughts all involve the life I wish to have some day. 3 kids before 35. Retiring and being lazy in Montana. Weddings of my friends. What never comes to my mind is how I'll get there or what will happen from now til the beginning of the end game. I'm honestly not worried or anything but maybe I should force myself to think more nearsighted. At least every now and then. Maybe it'll have a bigger impact on my future. We shall see if it's something that comes to me more often now that I mentioned it. What will 2017 Yousos be up to?

Why?

Why are there kpop groups debuting kids who were born in 1999? Thats like 15-16 years old. Is becoming an artist at age 20 not a thing in Korea/rest of the world. Maybe the US is just behind on the times. Musically at least. Obviously some are that young but it seems to be the norm in other places. Young actors and actresses are more common. One good thing about young artist is that they get to “retire” from the music industry much earlier.

First Heartbreak

I’m up so I decided to write about something i’ve been planning for a while. meaning a week. I bought the new Tori Kelly cd. It’s really good by the way. My favorite song happens to be the title of this post. I was playing FIFA at the time I first heard it so some of the lyrics werent clear to me. While half-way listening I heard Tori say “if you ever loved me, that would be my first heartbreak.” I thought God dang that’s so depressing and deep at the same time. It turned out to be “if you ever LEFT me...” So I wrong. Still, think about how good a song with the first story could be. Someone you wanted to so bad finally loved you but for whatever reason you couldnt be together and it led to heartbreak. Very different from the norm but I think it could be a great song/story. 

Everyone should get the Tori Kelly album Unbreakable Smile.

So I saw Inside Out

I thought it was pretty good. Probably actually better than a lot of Pixar films that I like more but I can’t say it’s a favorite yet. I do want to list my favorites though.
