falls asleep on the maiden's shoulder*
Amane allows Kazuya to sleep on her shoulder while she looks through the bags of clothes they purchased.
Sometimes I quietly lay down because the only official smiling Amane art is a sketch in the artbook.
Kisses his wife's forehead.
The yandere feels like he's been summoned.
"I wonder if there's a bookstore near here..." Isabeau murmured as she wandered around, looking at each of the storefronts.
アマネさま by そーだ
"It can’t be a promise of peace looking sorry to disappoint." he says with his own chuckle.
Both were now smiling which was good, he would have assumed she would have treated him the same way Naoya did. The son of man was glad he was met with a serene smile instead of a hateful frown. And it was nice to see Amane not constantly spewing ‘Gods words’.
"We should really get you some new clothes though, People still get the wrong idea over your group."
"Yes well...These clothes are uncomfortable, you are right about them not being the nicest."
Amane's head tilted slightly to the left at the thought of getting new clothes. She'd never been clothes shopping before, always having worn either the clothes of the Shomonkai or traditional yukatas. The girl was willing to go along with what her first real friend suggested.
"That's true. I've never shopped for clothing before, how does it usually go, Kazuya?"
"I’ve been fine. Mostly. Haven’t had much trouble really." he answered.
She didn’t look upset to see him. That’s good. The son of man shouldn’t have been surprised considering that in the end she did side with him and his comrades. Though he did notice some regret in her eyes.
"How bout you? Still wearing that old fashion mayhem I see."
"That's good to hear. I've been wondering about you since we helped Haru sing the demons away."
The maiden smiled faintly, still adjusting to being allowed free range of her emotions after being raised like she had by her father. Amane could honestly say she was glad to see the older boy healthy, however. She cared about Kazuya as a friend, after all.
"I've been well. And yes, I do sometimes wear this though it's more of a promise of peace now that we're a charity organization."
"…You already asked that, and you know I will." A slight smile forms on his pale lips, given the fact she should know he would. Though he understands her need to confirm with him if he would considering he’s often quick fickle, Minato does not certainly mind. The young man wonders if Hibiki would just make them in the dozens — something he won’t mind considering she’ll pack them for his snacks when he goes to class. "Get the ingredients. We’ll make them when they cook our dinner."
"Great! I'm glad we're going to bake together."
Smiling brightly, the girl went about gathering the ingredients for the delicate sweets from the pantry and fridge. She plans on making a few dozen of the macarons to pack into Minato's snacks for class and for her own snacks. Hibiki carefully grabbed the container of fresh raspberries and finally headed back to him, arms full.
"I have everything!"
His gaze casts briefly over at the Rabbit next to him, knowing full well she was observing him carefully. A muted sigh while he shrugs briefly while he stands up from the seat while applying gentle touches to her cheek, while heading for the kitchen. The cooks were making some Italian cuisine for their dinner. "So — did you want to cook, or no?"
Said Rabbit blushed faintly from the gentle touches before standing and following Minato. The food being prepared for dinner smelled wonderful but the girl just wouldn't allow the cooks to try to make her macarons. Hibiki would only allow the Fool to help her with them.
"Yeah. Want to make raspberry macarons?"
Minato lifts his head when he feels the slight weight of his lover against his back, shrugging a bit when he marks the page he last read off. Taking the time to close it so to not wrinkle the pages he places the book aside onto the stand next to him. Steel hues close once more while resting his chin on the palm of his left hand. "….Sure. I’m as fine as I’ll come, Hibiki."
Hibiki moves so she can take a seat beside her lover and look at his face carefully. She hoped he was telling the truth about his health. The girl wasn't too sure she would know how to take care of a sick Minato.
"I hope you are..."
Minato seems to be deep in thought, a book placed on his lap but had been forgotten. He’s been feeling strange as of late or perhaps he has been getting too much sleep, which, wouldn’t have been new. Though the Deathly Fool pauses in thought when hearing her voice. "—Hm?"
Hibiki wraps her arms around her Fool's shoulders and leans over to look at the book curiously. Finding it not to her tastes, the girl looked now at Minato's face and hums softly.
"I asked if you'd like to bake some macarons with me but...Are you feeling alright?"
"Mina, do you want to come cook some macarons with me?"
At the sight of the maiden the son of man stops in his place. It had been quite a while since he had seen her. Still there was a bit of hesitation in going to greet her. After his decision he was unsure if Amane was mad at him or not.
But he sucks it up and begins to walk over to her.
The maiden notices the son of man approaching her and turns to face him, a hint of curiosity in her expression. She didn't hold a grudge against him for his choice as what he had done had saved lives. Though she did wish he had chosen a different path, it had been Kazuya's choice.
"Have you been well?"
