Anything can be propoganda including that video and including these pictures. Yes, it’s suprising they can smile and wear bright colors. The first time I saw that, I honestly thought NK and SK pictures were backwards. They even have waterparks! However, its pretty much a Berlin thing. Theres a firm marker for boundaries, guided tours with strict rules, and some ppl even say it seems rehearsed to give an appearance. And these arent ppl getting photos off the intrnet, its ppl GOING to NK. Where ppl HAVE disappeared from, including reporters. 

They DO live under an evil government that watches their every move-even dictates what they wear. Those swimsuits, for instance, seem to be the only choice, as cheerful as the colors are. ANYONE can smile, anyone can frown. It doesn’t mean theyre happy, or safe, or have choices we take for granted or true freedom. It doesn’t make them evil to live in those conditions, but dont ERASE the corrupt fucking government they live under bc they can smile and wear bright happy clothes. And never forget even THIS can be propaganda, telling you it’s not. 

Maybe they CAN smile........when theyre told to.
