Just found out someone who was one of my best friends in junior high killed themselves. I feel absolutely terrible, way more than I feel like should considering I haven't seen them in over 10 years, and only ever interacted via facebook posts. Seeing their posts was like being back there again, back when I had rl friends. I really wish I had made more of an effort to keep in touch with them, met up with them again etc. Now I never can. No more 'I wonder what they've been up to'. And I think partly it is because I can see myself in them, I've been having issues with suicidal ideation since my mum died.
