can you dance in high heels?
"No."
Mr. Sandman Brought Me The Wrong Man
5:00 on the dot. That’s what his watch said. It beeped over and over again until Rusty turned it off in slight annoyance. It was his turn to baby sit Gluskin- actually, it was his first time having to baby sit him. The other, more seasoned guards, told him horror stories about the man. Someone always had to watch Gluskin to
Boy did it make his skin crawl, but it wasn’t like he had a choice. Standing up with a long, drawn out sigh, he walked out from his current place of rest and made his way over to the cell Gluskin was in. His eyes scanned the immaculate hallways with slight disdain, it felt so sterile…so uncaring, he didn’t care for it He stood outside the cell for a moment, adjusting his tie and then rapped his knuckles against the door to grab the attention of the man inside.
Since the second the guard with the earlier guard duty left his room, Eddie had been staring at the wall of his cell. His eyes were dull, barely containing any life as he kept his line of sight on the blank surface. He let out hardly any noise, only moving when his rear became slightly stiff from sitting still too long. The only other time was when there was a knocking against his door. His eyes widened as he tensed up, his tongue poking out from between dried lips, grazing against a bruise and speck of blood he'd gotten from being punched by one of the guards.
He turns his head towards the door, staring at it instead before lowering his eyes to the floor, not wanting to look any of the employees of this place in the face. It only usually ended up in him getting beat up. A lot of pain. A reason he also stayed silent.
After a long few days of stitching things together, pricking his fingers, trying to ignore the occasional sounds of feet dragging along flooring, hurried steps, from above and in the hall, he finally finished the beautiful creation he was working on. A deep breath as his eyes flicked over the dress, filled with pride. The excitement was short lived as his lids drooped as his lips pursed, knowing that he had to find a woman to fit it.
Eddie huffed, turning on his heels as he left the dress to lay there on his work table, heading for the door. And it takes the groom awhile before he he finds what he's looking for, which is another person. When he turns the corner to lay eyes on the man, he notices the stranger's back isn't facing him, and that alone is enough to make him start moving towards what he hopes is the perfect bride.
Slow steps, but that doesn't help him exactly keep his presence secret, as his shoes end up making sound each time they make contact with the flooring.
He begins to pray the man won't run. Though a part of him prays that he does.
Wellgroomedslaughter is following you
Aker looked at the smaller human, red eyes gleaming in the dim lighting. She’s in a surprisingly good mood for being lost in an asylum, so she offers a slight grin, sharp teeth flashing. It looks more predatory than friendly.
She takes a step forward, long legs shortening the distance between them exponentially. While she does want to inspect this man—he was of the few that had hair and clothes after all, but she wasn’t quite sure if that meant sanity, exactly—she also couldn’t help but want to spook him a bit. She sort of wishes she hadn’t eaten already, since he looks like he’d make a better meal than the other scraggly inmates she’d found had been.
Huffing some smoke from between scarred black lips, she leans down a bit to get a better look at him. And now that she was so close, he could see the blood that coated her hands and gloves, and stained her huge teeth. “Hi.” She coos as if speaking to a child, chuckling softly at his reaction, her voice thick with her heavy accent. It was too deep to be normal, it sounded like she was talking through a mouthful of gravel. Her eyes flicked over to the dress he’d been working on, to the suit he was wearing and she frowned, curious.
A shudder goes through his body when her teeth are exposed with the movement of her lips, the man taking a step back at the sight. He's scared shitless, wondering what the hell this monster is going to do to him. Instinctively, his fingers finally grip onto the handle of the blade beside him.
"What the hell are you!?" He shouts with barely any thought, holding the knife in between them in a threatening stance, although his slight trembling and size compared to her most definitely wrecked the concept. Nonetheless he kept it pointed in her general direction, just in case she got any closer.
Her words give him a jolt, and he shivers once more, gritting his teeth together as annoyance passed through his petrified mindset. The thought she was talking to him like he was just a mere child lingered enough to make him tense up with anger. His brows knit together as he huffed, his eyes narrowing up at the woman. He followed her line of sight the second her eyes left him, landing on the dress, and he straightened his back right away, gripping the knife so hard his knuckles turned white.
"You want it, don't you? Well you can't have it! Get out of here, you whore!"
(( Anyone want a starter? ))
Ursula was more than capable of picking up on the fact that he was tensing up at this point, she was young yet she knew all too well on how to pick up on those types of cues. Folding her arms over her chest, she continued to squint at him even as he glanced down and gestured to himself before stating he would never harm a child.
"That’s what they all say," the rash on his face, the blood shot hues and the blood that splattered his clothing. Needless to say, he was dressed like the type of man she usually picked on whenever she was bored. Oh they were always quick to throw a tantrum, she just always had to say just the right thing. However, he had the look of a murderer.
"I mean you couldn’t hurt me even if you wanted to," he’d have to catch her first, which would definitely be a pain for him.
"But for that I would need the want to hurt a child, now wouldn't I? I'm fresh out of that want and as far as I can tell, I've never even felt such a thing towards a little one." He inhales slowly, looking over the much younger human being in front of him. "I'm also certain I never will. But I can't the say the same for the other...inhabitants of this place."
The groom shifts slowly, his arms crossing over his chest as he glances over the girl. "If anything, the pigs might just see you as a bigger target. All I want is to keep such a...innocent little thing like you safe. This is no place for a little girl, you know."
Waylon is shaking only harder now. His mind is pushing together a formula that will no doubt get him killed or send the groom into a rage. No. He needs to remain calm and stay on Eddie's good side for as long as possible. At least until he's absolutely sure he can get away without risking his life.
He lets Eddie guide him, trying to push away the thoughts of running. Just smile. Look thankful. Squeeze his hand. Show how grateful you are. Yes, the bed isn't at all comfortable but it's better than the saw table. He relaxes and sits on the bed quietly, still trying to stop shaking. One hand worries itself on the edge of his clothing. "I'll be okay..."
The more Waylon shakes, the more worried the groom becomes, Eddie's eyes trained on the shorter man with a worried look. The smile eases a bit of it, but not enough for his eyes to move away from his precious bride, not even the squeezing of his hand does much to help. Once Waylon sits, Eddie can't help but rest his hand on top of the sitting male's head, brushing his bloodied fingers through his hair slowly.
"You are shaking so much, darling. I'm sorry I wasn't here to help you sooner... For now, you should rest. I'll be here right at your side until you wake up. I promise." He says as lightly as possible, his hands moving to rest on the others shoulders, beginning to gently push on them to try and push him back. "Get some shut eye, sweetheart."
From the stream—some sittin’ boys.

Honestly, Ursula really had no idea about the doors. She pulled that reply out of…she wasn’t even really sure. Moving back, Ursula eyed him when he attempted to convince her to go with him because of the ‘brutes’. She knew who he was talking about, she had an encounter with one of them and she had barely made it out in one piece. A painful bruise covered just about half of her side because of the encounter, it was fortunate for her that she was able to squeeze into an area where they could not get through.
"I know, but why would I go with you?”
When she steps back, he tenses up as he stares down at her, his brows knitting together. He looks down at his outfit, and even if there were spots of blood along the tuxedo vest, he didn't understand why she wouldn't. He dressed like a gentleman, acted like one... He was a gentleman. Eddie uses a hand to gesture to himself, his lips pursing as he looks back at her.
"Do I look like the type of man that would hurt you, little one? I would never harm a child, not like those disgusting things that call themselves men. I don't know what they will do, but I most certainly will not lay a hand on you."
He smiles and nods. "Yeah... I'm... I'm still a little under the weather. I-I..." He can feel his throat close up. He needs to stop that before he starts to freak out Eddie. And knowing the Groom, it would probably send him into a rage. "I... We should go lie down for a bit. To rest."
Frowning, he glances over the others face for a moment before nodding. Eddie shifts in his spot, grasping Waylon's hand and laces their fingers together before giving him a gentle pull. He begins leading the other towards the bed he'd eventually set into the room he works in. The bed itself was rather hard, the thing he dared to call a pillow not even that soft. Either way, he gently pushed the other towards the bed.
“Love is not for everyone. It isn’ t made for the moon.”
I find this bd null and I hesitated to post … but you will be able to hurt me if I can’t post ! *goes hiding* (this isn’t true, you’re awesome <3)

Waylon shivers against the other. Oh god he smells like blood. Sickening, twisting blood. He feigns affection towards the other, rubbing Eddie's chest. All to keep the other calm. "I... I really didn't want to get you sick... I'm... I'm sorry."
"Are you still sick, darling?" Is the first thing he asks when the man begins to shiver against him, a hand raising to feel the others head, waiting for a moment before drawing it back. "I don't want you to suffer alone, sweetheart. Just tell me next time and I will do all I can to help you."
littlebearwithinthebull replied to your post:The child squints at him, "...weirdo."
Brief flashes of scenes flash through her mind as she visibly ponders over her response, Ursula can’t make sense of the flickers of memories so she shrugs before she replies cryptically, “there’s a crack under the door.”
"Under...the door." His brows raise a bit at the answer and for a second, he ponders if there really is. He hadn't paid attention to any doors since he'd gotten to where he is now, only really paying attention to if he could open them or not. He shrugs.
"Alright. Well... Come with me. It's not very safe for a child with all these brutes walking around."
Your titties are magnificent. A+ material. Just take your shirt off and everybody within a 10 mile radius will want to be your bride.
"I don't have 'titties', you filthy little shit."
Glares down at the little gray face, skin at the bridge of his nose wrinkling as his brows pinch together in a furrow and his lips pull into a scowl.
You have the wonderful kind of chest ppl would want to sleep on.
Squints.
