Time to work
I’ll be going to work, not sure if I can make the skype party if they’re going to be one but I’ll see if I can make it.
I OBJECT!!!
My muse is getting married. Your muse is at the wedding. Send me "I object!" for my muse's reaction.
Blanky she stared at the wall, no words escaped her lips as Ciqian’s voice could be heard. Indeed, she was more than surprised, for the very individual was always an easy-going, calm character — never once he has uttered the word ‘no’ to her. This was also the very same occasion, where she told him that she, his dearly loved friend, was getting married to another in less than two days. He didn’t say anything, either, Ciqian would just smile and whispered congratulations. As always.
But this wasn’t something she expected him to do. To express utmost refusal in such a way against the group of people, towards the large crowd of aristocrats and such. Surely he must have been insane, that or he has stored too much of hidden emotions within, enough for them to suddenly explode when it was needed the most. Gentle drop of tear escape her eye as she glanced down at white bouquet presented within her hands.
Ah, she couldn’t deny it anymore — both of them are the same. Both of them loved her so.
"…" She gathered her strength to turn around and face the young man in suit, before a faint, yet memorable smile was drawn upon her visage. A farewell gift for her beloved hero.
He couldn’t let this happen. He won’t let her be taken away. Relying purely on emotion, he rushed to Cao Ang. Pushing aside what people were getting in his way, he grabbed Ang by her arms. Deafening himself to any objections she had, to the irritated shouts of the nobles, to the rage-fills taunts of her fiance, and to his own doubts, he rushed down the aisle after turning and carrying with both his arms. He whistled for his horse to come and arrived it did. Timing a risky maneuver, he jumped very high and cradling her to reduce the harm done to her, he landed on his horse. Telling his steed to run as fast as it could, it did just that. Along the path was Wen Yang’s javelin which he grabbed as they past it. All that mattered now was the woman, whom he fell in love with, in his arms and the path that led away from the ceremony.
His surprises continued, it seems, as she watched Wen Yang rushed over past the crowd of guards and such as they attempted to prevent him from moving any further, reaching for her arm and pulled her into his hold. How risky of his actions, for she could see shouting aristocrats and more soldiers swarmed through the building in order to stop her knight in shining armor. Truly, this may be the first in a long time that she, Cao Ang, was unsure of her actions, filling her mind with doubts and for once wanting to shed tears due to fear. However, Wen Yang was more in control of his actions, and eventually she found herself lifted up within his arms, her own arms automatically wrapped around his neck as he jumped up — with her in his hold — and landed on his horse. Boquet within her hands dropped from the air, wedding dress fluttered against the wind due to the speed of the steed. Crazy, he was crazy, her gentle, kind-hearted, caring comrade was crazy.
Because he loves her.
”..Y-You fool..Why did you do such a thing?” She spoke up once the two were now moving through the empty path, azure orbs filled with tears. "Y-You could have been killed, Idiot..Y-You could have died..Why did you do such a thing? A-Ahh.."
It was then she rested her head against his chest, sobbing upon his frame before sighing softly. Surely men of her father would still be searching for her, and the men of her fiance’s family, but none of that matters anymore, no? They’re now safe, within each other’s care and protection, and with just themselves — no longer a soldier or a high-ranked aristocrat with duties.
There’s no need for them to part any longer.
Ciqian had been so focused on his goal to save her that he blocked anything else from the world outside his mind. It was only through the gentle sobs on the one in his arms that broke him out of his self-induced trance. He looked at her tear-filled eyes and seeing her face stained with them, he reached for a small cloth and wiped them from her face. "Don't worry, my lady." Wen Yang said with a bit of shakiness in his voice. "You won't go back to him. I'll protect you...even if it means I have to forfeit my life." This last part was said with a bit more confidence. After what seem like hours from his horse sprinting across the path and into a heavily-dense forest, the sun was now setting across the western horizon. Wen Yang brought his horse to a much slower speed in the from of a trot.
Getting his horse off the path of the road through the thick branches of the trees, using his body as a shield for Cao Ang, they found a clearing. He switch his right leg to the left and jumped off his horse with Cao Ang still in his arms. Once on the ground, he set her gently on the horse and to let her go from his grasp, as painful as it was. He went about creating a make-shift camp. His father had trained him the ways of survival int the wilderness. After the fire was built, it was luck he happened upon a small stream. Getting pans and cups from the pack on his steed, he gathered for her, his trusty stallion and himself. After taking sip, he looked at the dancing flames and wondered if this truly was the right thing to do. Was it right to go against tradition and more important, his father who harbored objections? Only time would be able to tell.
Finally, with sleep overcoming him, he turn towards her and said before his sleep, "So, do you think we can keep running forever from this?"
Confess
(Crap I was really late with one) Wen Yang doesn't know why but he gets really queasy around Cao Ang. He admires the warrior's spirit in her. Both of them are callous and they can find solitude in each other. However, he knows that there is a softer side to her that he wishes was out more.

A time to strike back(Cao Ang)
It was refreshing to know that her knight did not dare of object her suggestion, and immediately obeyed once she spoke up. She watched in as he lifted himself off the ground, and made his way without another word to the only room of the wavering shelter, before glancing back towards burning embers and blazing flames. Another log was soon shoved into the fire in order to warm her shivering anatomy, dimmed orbs of sky remained open regardless of the fatigue feeling she experienced. No, she could not let her comrade down, she cannot fall asleep.
Thinking back, Cao Ang began to wonder if the sudden encounter with this man was a blessing or a curse from the heavens — is this her second chance for atonement, or a painful punishment of her failure? The princess will never know, but one thing was a confirmation — this was not a dream, nor this was a nightmare. This encounter was indeed a reality, this sudden alliance was far from an illusion. How could this be though? How could a living soul look exactly like him? Gritting her teeth, the princess stood up before fixing her gaze at the gate of the now closed shelter, before head hung low and rested on her knees. Must she reminded herself again that this Wen Yang was not him? That this man was not the man she once loved, she once cherished. Wen Yang was just another man coming into her life, nothing more, no?
He just happened to look, sound, and possessed the exact same attitude at his.
"Tch..This is annoying."
As his mind wondering across more memories, Wen Ciqian was soundly still in his bed. Suddenly, the pass down the past has no more road under it. Instead, there was a deep void in its place stretching for thousands of li that one could see. Wen Yang was not sure about how proceed with this and it showed in his body language as it began to twist and turn in response of the nightmare he was having. In the deep dark abyss though, he started to see something. He wasn't sure of what it was. Soon, a small matter of bright line emerged from the void, and was starting to take shape. When it was finished, it wasn't a horrible creature from the legends and stories that he heard about. It wasn't a corrupt man or anyone else like that. It was him. Or rather, a people who looked just like him but he wasn't seeing a reflection of himself. But Wen Yang could ask this strange apparition what its purpose was in his mind, the dream was shattered when light hit Wen Yang's closed eyes and stirred him from his sleep.
Ciqian lazily opened his eyes as the dim sunlight welcomed him with the embrace of its rays. Getting up from the bed he scanned the room and saw that it held quite well, despite its aged condition and the strong winds that were battering its walls last night. Lifting himself up from the tatty bed, he quickly moved and gathered his armor pieces. Examining himself for any damage and cleaning what he could, he donned his trusted suit of metal back on his body. Before he opened the door, he stopped and thought about the woman that was with him and the dream.
Was that dream suppose to meant something? Dreams rarely had rhyme or reason in them. However, the fact that he saw an exact copy of himself in all but name was something to be anxious about. Wen Yang blinked a few times and shrugged off the bizarre events of his mind. He opened the door to see if Lady Cao was doing alright.
Send me a "+" and a character you would like to see me hook up with...
