Mark was silent, the nickname that Dark gave him in return causing the corner of his lips to twitch up into a small grin, tips of his ears darkening slightly. Funny how even though it was teasing, it still managed to make him feel warm and fluffy inside.
He ate carefully as Dark spoke, the wispy tendril that came up to caress his cheek making the werewolf’s gaze soften. It was interesting how safe Dark could make him feel with the simplest of things.
“Traveling across dimensions? That sounds incredible! I didn’t even know that was possible,” Mark exclaimed in surprise, eyes twinkling with curiosity. “That must be amazing. You’ll have to tell me about your travels.”
He settled back down as Dark began to get into his interests, smiling a little to himself. The piano seemed so very fitting for the entity.
“I would love to hear you play sometime,” Mark responded gently, tone sincere. He then took in a slow breath and licked the taste of soup from his lips. “As for myself, aside from video games, I do enjoy a good book every now and then. I also enjoy things like working out or going for a hike, maybe a short road trip… oh, learning the guitar has been something I’ve been working on recently as well. I’d say singing but… well, is that even really a hobby?”
He tilted his head slightly, almost like a confused puppy. Mark didn’t know, all he knew was that he did it almost all the time - especially since there wasn’t usually anyone around to hear him besides Chica.

Dark’s lips curl up into a small smile at the astonishment in Mark’s voice.
“It’s a rather enlightening experience, I must admit. There are limitless realities and possibilities when it comes to dimensional travel. For example, there are different versions of people you may know, different versions of even yourself, and how they may be affected by changed past events. I’d be delighted to share some of my travels with you.”
The sincerity behind Mark’s words warms the entity, admittedly even a little touched by them.
“And I’d of course love to play for you, my dear,” He purrs, before focusing solely on Mark’s discussion of his own hobbies. Ah, that was befitting of the werewolf, always the adventurous type, of course he’d love road trips and hiking. Perhaps once Mark recovers he can treat him to a short hike, or even a road trip with just two of them.
Though, he’s soon pausing at the last bit of information.
“I never knew you sang, Mark,” His words are hushed with awe, it’s as if he’s trying to steal Dark’s heart, as if he doesn’t have it already, “Oh you have to show me your talent some time! I’d love to hear you sing one day, if you wouldn’t mind of course. Paired with your guitar skills, I’m sure it’d be absolutely delightful!”
He huffs out a soft breath, a fond chuckle escaping him as he murmurs, “You know you are full of surprises, and every time I learn something new about you, it only makes me more enamored with you.”
He almost feels a little silly by the confession, but he truly adores Mark.
"Oh, I would love to hear about your travels, they sound amazing. I always wanted to believe in those sorts of things and, admittedly, I was a bit skeptical at first... but after finding out that werewolves were very real after being bit, I figured that other things I questioned about this world couldn't be too much crazier," Mark stated with a sheepish chuckle. "How long have you been traveling to other dimensions? What are your most memorable experiences?"
Mark was like an excited child, eager to learn mors about these other dimensions and Dark's ability to travel there. But upon discovering that he could hear Dark play sometime, Mark's excitement shifted to that. To hear Dark play anything, honestly, would be a treat.
A smile decorated his lips, followed by a light blush over his ears and cheeks. The way the other looked at him had Mark's heart fluttering, and the gentleness in his voice... the werewolf was practically melting.
"I could easily say the same about you," Mark stated softly, tone sincere and gentle. "I, uh... I wouldn't mind singing for you, if you want me to. I've never sang for anyone before, though, so it may not be the best."
The werewolf's chocolate brown hues are full of warmth and adoration for the entity and he finds himself never wanting to move from his spot. Even if he healed, he selfishly wanted to remain just as close to Dark.
"Hey, so, when I recover... does that mean that this... this closeness we have is lost?" He then asked quietly, voice just above a murmur.
